Usually i am against these type of moves, but right now i think this would be a fantastic idea. I was genuinely gutted when i heard on the way back from my trip last night he was going. I was talking to the guy who picked me up at the station and gave me a lift home about every thing that went on football wise this weekend, after finding out about the 4-1 i asked about deadline day was told Yossi went to West Ham on loan then Real have got Essien on loan (surprised but not too downbeat as he hasn't been the same for a while) then i said ok not too bad about Essien as he was not as good as he use to be and we still have Meireles as a squad option then he was like oh no i forgot about Meireles, he's off to Turkey, my first thought was fuck we are stuck with Mikel and Lampard in the double pivot all season. What did bewilder me about the Essien loan was, if he was going on loan to Madrid, then why on earth didn't we do a swap loan which included Sahin, how we could do with him in the 2 right now.

Oscar should not start this game. If you take the hostility out then maybe, but giving Oscar his first start at Loftus Road will end in tears, it will be hard enough for Hazard, heck even Mata shit himself there in this corresponding fixture last season.

Its easy to say based on the first three games but eventually every member of the squad will be needed throughout the season. Belletti for example was never a great player, but would have come in handy in 2010/2011 when Ivan was shoved in the centre. Maybe the Malouda and at a push Benayoun departing are understandable, but our double pivot is light as it is, now after Lampard and Mikel we literally only have Romeu, unless RDM's plan is to play Ramires there or maybe even utilize Oscar in a Modric lite role.

Looking at the players he has had in 15 years at Arsenal, 3 PL titles and 4 FA Cup's is massively underachieving. Not to mention only getting past the CL quarter's twice.

Assuming Friedel makes way for Lloris at some point this campaign, Tottenham will have three former Premier League number 1's sitting out.

Who will replace Essien, Meireles, Benayoun and Malouda (assuming he leaves today) in the squad? unproven youngsters who have never played a first team game Have we learned nothing from two years ago?

If RDM is going to keep playing the Ash-Ryan combo i hope he rotates who is the left back. My only worry is Ryan knows at LM if he get's skinned (which is a very rare occurance) Ash is there to cover up, he won't have that luxury at left back, so i don't want him to get too use to it.

So i come back from one of the best weekend's of my life to find out that we have let Essien go, sold/selling Meireles, lost 4-1, United got another last minute goal and Drogba got released from his new club and is wanted by Liverpool. Thank fuck i had no signal where i was.

If we loan a player to Arsenal again then is all im going to have to say. Everton would be a good move for him if we really want to see if he can get back to some sort of him, although having said that i think Everton are a bit more depth to their squad away to becoming serious top 4 contenders.
