Even Neil Warnock and Harry Redknapp wouldn't announce stuff like that. What on earth is a millionaire doing on the underground? and if he is approached he should swerve the question, it aint that hard. No wonder England football are a worldwide laughing stock when the England manager goes saying that on the underground. If a Chelsea manager did that, i would fully back Roman if he decides to sack him on the spot, infact ill call for it to happen.

Something seriously needs to be done about the international breaks, they fuck up the flo and wreck form by constantly coming about. Its not so bad this season because it's the last one until March next week, but in World Cup/Euro years they have three early on in the season it's ridiculous. To me they should play international qualifayers in August, half one year the other half the next, it may be an agonizing wait for club football, but it will be worth it to have 9 months of uninterrupted club action.
-
Another fucking international break after this On a positive note this will be the last one of the season for me, ill be in Costa Rica by the time the next one comes about thank fuck.

He hasn't played for a few games now, he went off injured the other week.

I can't believe Falcao will struggling here is even being discussed, whats the argument? we won't tell our wingers to pass to him every time they have the ball? Hazard and Mata are assist machine's, Falcao will get chances and crucially (as we brutally found out) he will take them.
-
He was awful in the Norwich game, he was decent in the West Brom game and got the timely winner like you said, but i was talking about the Flo on top form that we all grown to love in the Double winning season, the Blackpool game was the last time he was at that level imo. The ironic thing was i thought he would have had a decent campaign this time round.
-
@Liquidator, I agree that he should have been kept in the squad but he has in general been awful for two years. The last time Flo was on top of his game was the first half against Blackpool just over two years ago.
-
That's why he doesn't get the credit he deserves, for some reason any full back who is fast get's plaudits even if their crap at every thing else. Bosingwa is the case in point, it wasn't until his flaws became glaringly obvious he got the overdue critics. I can remember i was on another forum when Bosingwa was due to return from injury in 10/11, despite Ivan's appearance in PFA team of the year, most called for him to go back on the bench.

don't get to excited, i ain't going anywhere until the end of January
-
A combination of his rest and opponents keeping a closer eye of Hazard has resulted in him returning to form with an almighty bang. If he carries on like this net few weeks it won't be long before the shift of opponents attention falls back to Juanny, which will mean Hazard will go back to his August form. Either way there won't be many times this season where atleast one of those two aren't on form
-
Since Oscar has came into the fold Robbie has ditched his 'defensive winger'. Oscar's pressing has been a main part of that. I wonder whether next time Robbie drops/rest's Oscar, will Ramires or Bertrand be returning on the wing?

Im not going on holiday im going on expedition, i won't even get phone signal that often let alone internet
-
HIs finishing was a worry tonight, but his all round game in the last couple of matches has been fantastic.
-
Now who didn't want Luiz taking the free kicks?
-
Surely we must be breaking the record for amount of goals in the net but disaloowed?
-
Great play by Torres there, fantastic pass by Frank too.
-
Maybe that was the wrong phrase, what i meant is winning the league cup has often fucked up team's season's for some reason, including the last two winners.
-
There is some sort of agenda going on with Luiz, its getting stupid. Souness solely blaming him for the goal and not JT, then when him and Ivan had a mix up Alan Smith said "mix up there by Ivanovic and especially Luiz"
-
@warnie_666, The League Cup is a double edged sword at the best of times, for one Chelsea 04/05, there's a Spurs, Birmingham or Kenny's Liverpool.

Is stability solely based on the manager tho? We have had a stable owner for years while United, Arsenal and Liverpool have been having numerous problems in that department. Since John Terry has been Chelsea captain Arsenal and United have been throwing their captains armband around like confetti. We had a world class spine between 2004-2010 that no other club with the possible exception of United could match. Stability depends on numerous thing's, with ofcourse the manager being one of them, but if we had one manager for 10 years but at the same time our captain and owner was changing every summer and there were numerous power struggles going on with the board of directors, would that be classed as stability? The constant change of managers have been irritating, but with JT as captain and Roman as owner we have had more than enough stability to get us through the constant manager changes these last 9 years.
-
Like @CHOULO19, said while this may not be Oscar's best game of his career, he was a big reason we won. He was closing down the Arsenal midfield preventing Arteta and co from pulling the string's, its was actually after he got booked (making him more naturally cautious in his challenges) Arsenal started getting a grip of things and eventually leveling the score.
-
I think opponents are keeping a closer eye on him now after his fantastic first month, which is why Mata has all off a sudden returned to the form of last season and more. Eventually opponents will turn their attention's back to Mata then Hazard will be back to the form of August and so on and so forth.
-
That is a fair point actually, i never looked at it from that angle.
-
@Badboy, Very true, i thought he (overall) declined after the third season (with the exception of the double season), yes he scored all the cup final goals but his consistency imo waned after Jose left (apart from the double wining season ofcourse).
