Three things: 1) Lampard is a massive problem. He isn't playing like a CM which is the role he is required to play. He is playing like a striker that just wants to run forward and score goals. Mikel is more or less alone in midfield with limited passing options and defensive help. Di Matteo has to act fast. 2) I'd like to see how Luiz and Cahill do together. Terry's lack of mobility is the cause of a lot of issues that people don't seem to notice. 3) We need a striker THIS window. I'm sorry but Torres isn't back and he never will be.

Oscar isn't just an attacking midfielder. He has a lot more to his game and should be allowed to influence the game from a deeper position if he wants to. He should have that freedom to drop back and organise play and move forward. I don't think people realise just what a special player we have on our hands right now. This guy is going to be amazing and I just hope we get to see him here for a very long time.

I was really impressed with Oscar. He is going to be a very special player.

It's the same limited team as last season. When you think about it not much has actually changed.

I think we're going to struggle again in the League this season. We won't score enough goals. I think we'll get 4th and you never know with the cups. It's going to be a long season.

Instead of improving in every pre-season game we have got steadily worse.

Our main trio is going to be Mata, Hazard and Oscar. Smart players who all seem to be on the same wavelength. Mata 24, Hazard 21 and Oscar 20. They could really grow and develop together and be amazing in 2-3 seasons. Marin will be a squad player/bench player I feel.

I thought he played really well. Smart, aware of space and linked up with teammates brilliantly. We have potentially a very, very special player on our hands. Now I'll be nervous until I see him holding up the shirt.

I like the look of him. He looks like a very smart young player with impressive technique.

Let him train and play with players like Mata and Hazard and see how he gets on until January. He deserves a chance.

Villas-Boas was all talk, he said the right things but did not know how to put them into practise. He was a very good actor. I wouldn't compare Guardiola to somebody like AVB, he deserves more respect than that.

It would be good to have a development RB, somebody you can use here and there and provide OK cover for Branislav. I like Todd Kane but he's only 18 and has plenty of work still to do.

I would suggest he spends another year with the team training and working on his physique.Then if his path is still blocked he can get a loan for the 2013-2014 season. Josh is 5'11, he's not a 5'7 midfielder with powerful legs and low centre of gravity. He really needs to work on his strength because he is just so skinny and weak. I don't see what the rush is anymore. He's only 19 and has another 13-14 years to play football. The next 2 years are massive for his potential and he needs to get his body right because his technique is beyond doubt.

Just a reacton that specific video. I could be wrong and I hope I am but once again that specific video, which one poster was very impressed by, didn't show much of this supposed world class player. Players like Sessengon who are decent players put in similar performances week in week out and I wouldn't pay 32m for him or close to it.

I am 100% serious. There was nothing particularly impressive about that video. That's fine but he's not worth 32m. We signed Mata for 24m and Hazard is definitely not 8m better than him.

Definitely not worth £32m or whatever it is if that's how he usually performs.

I think before the new season starts we should have a forum sweepstakes on what the 2012/2013 season's John Terry scandal is going to be. I think the next one is going to involve animals.

Semantics. If Cavani has even half the Chelsea career Drogba has had he would have done well. Nobody is surpassing Didier, trust me!

Cavni is good but he's not Drogba good. People said Torres would surpass Didier. How did that one turn out?

Just to add I really am a big fan of Cavani. He's a great player and is 1000000000x better than Torres. But I don't think we will get him because Napoli will want too much.
