And after 8 years of the big alpha Drog then you can see why I'm not a fan.

There are things about Torres that annoy the hell out of me. He seems so mentally fragile and physically weak and is easily bullied on the pitch. He comes across like such a big coward sometimes in all honesty. He doesn't have that fire in him. Sorry but I don't want that kind of player leading our line for a month let alone a whole season. He can be a squad player or whatever. Di Matteo knows and a 50m unused substitute in the FA Cup Final says it all.
-
Who cares how much he cost? He wasn't worth 50m and hasn't played like a 50m player once during his time as a Chelsea player. Torres at this point is nothing more than a back-up player to use off the bench. If we try to build the team around him then we might as well give up any hope of winning something for the forseeable future. Torres is a nice guy and all that jazz but he's a rubbish player. It's that simple.

It's crazy, it's almost as if some people think Black players are only good because they're athletic and they don't have tecnhical ability or intelligence.

Canales is a good player but he just suffered another knee inuury and is out for 6 months again. That's 2 in a year now, doesn't look promising.

I need Terry and Ramires to score goals for my fantasy team!
-
If he doesn't get a new contract I'll die a little inside.
-
My view on the Mikel debate is if you don't think he's good then you don't know much about football. Simples.

Great day all round. You better enjoy this era of success because we may never see anything like it again. For all the scousers

Wow. You think Cavani is going to come here and surpass Drogba? Our best ever striker? The hero for us on so many great nights? Cavani is going to surpass Mr Wembley? I'm amazed that after all these years people still don't show Drogba the respect he truly deserves. I remember everybody wanted to get rid of Drogba when Torres was signed. He was also supposed to 'surpass' Didier. If Cavani comes here and has even half the Chelsea career Drogba has had then he will have done well. But surpass Drogba? Have a word with yourself.

If the plan is for a 4-2-3-1 then Ramires is one of the three because he isn't really a CM or DM.

I read a Tottenham forum and needless to say they were absolutely fuming that we went through! They were the most bitter of all the supporters, even Liverpool weren't as bitter and twisted as them. Wonder what Modric must be thinking now. In fact I wonder what he was thinking after 5-1 at Wembley let alone after going through to the Champions League final!

hahaha Cundy is so passionate. You can't help but love the fella despite how daft he is sometimes! The video of the fans celebrating up in the stands gives me shivers. What I would give to have been there! Those guys are so lucky.

I cried. I'm still getting emotional looking at the footage. Absolutely amazing, I will never forget last night.

We only had ONE corner at Stamford Bridge so hoping for set pieces isn't going to get us anywhere.

Thanks mate I agree Essien is no longer the athlete he once was but he looked a little sharper and moved better against Arsenal then he has done since coming back. Now I know it's a massive gamble but Mata was just so irrelevant in the first leg that something needs to change. He touched the ball maybe 5 times and can't press or tackle anybody. It was like playing with 10 men.

You lucky dog

We need a goal. If we're stuck in a pattern of constant Barcelona possession with no respite then we're done for. If showing ambition in search of a goal leaves us more open then that's a sacrifice we're going to have to make. I love Mata like everybody else but this isn't a game for him because he doesn't have the energy or running power. I would start Essien or Malouda in his place. Maybe even Bosingwa or Bertrand and close one of the flanks.

Ramires and Meireles as the two midfielders was suicide. It's time to be honest about Ramires. Yes he is a tremendous athlete but hIs touch, control, vision and his passing are all way below average. Why would you play him in a position that exposes all of his faults? He should have a free role to close people down all over the pitch and run with the ball when he gets it. To give him a defined position in such an important area of the pitch is insane. He is a dreadful footballer but a great athlete. His technique is embarrassing, there players in the Championship with better ability. The only thing Ramires has is pace, nothing else. The less said about Meireles the better. He contributes nothing but mistakes. He gives possession away and is afraid to tackle and literally runs away from players when they have the ball. He ran away from Lavezzi last night just like he did against Nani when he scored that long range goal at Old Trafford. Thankfully he misses the second leg, that gives us a chance to improve.

Ramires would return to Brazil right away if he could
Styles replied to Melanicus's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Who can blame him? He wants to go home and play for his first team now that finances are good. Lots of footballers would remain in their own country if they didn't have to leave for better wages. Fair play. -
Does justin still post? Marca are reporting that Chelsea are apparently interested in two managers; Bielsa of Athletic Bilbao and Unai Emery of Valencia. http://translate.goo...78.html&act=url

Our midfield is just so poor it's beyond a joke now. Meireles is just terrible. I have no words to describe just how awful he truly is. I hope he never plays another minute for this club. Ramires is a great athlete but a rubbish footballer. The team started kicking it long in the second half just to get the ball from back to front because our midfield is incapable of doing so. How depressing is that? Long ball football against a Championship side because you have to bypass your midfield.
-
No doubt that it's the fans who can barely afford a ticket that are suffering the most. While these players are paid millions that they don't deserve for the performances. There are very few of them that actually put in 100%. They walk about the pitch expecting things to happen instead of trying to make it happen.

Cheers bro! Hope all is well with you.

Cheers mate, left the forum never to return but needed to vent some anger during this, er, 'bad moment'. Hope all is well with you bro.
