I looked at the team that we played there last year that lost 2-0 and it was: Cech Bosingwa Ivanovic Luiz Cole Essien Lampard Miereles Mata Sturridge Torres Things have really changed in the space of about 10 months.

Didn't watch but heard he had a great game. Brilliant to hear! Luckily for him we didn't waste any time in getting him a good loan. I really hope he progresses because he has the talent too. With some other young players you fall in love with the idea of somebody from the academy making it more than their actual talent. Chalobah is different, he has always looked like an adult playing with kids at youth level. It would be a real shame to be talking about what could have been with Chalobah in a few years time.

I'm really beginning to think this guy would be better for us than Falcao.

I expect Moses to give Baines the run around and pin him back. No Fellaini and they're missing a few other players too. If the players are up for this from the first minute we can win this but it's going to be tough.

I would love for Lampard to stay but in the age of Financial Fair Play it's impossible that a soon to be 35 year old can get his wages on a 2 or even 3 year deal. I doubt Lampard is willing to accept significantly reduced wages on a one year deal.

Torres is hardly ever available or in a good enough position for Azpilicueta or whoever else to play an early ball like he did yesterday. No point just kicking the ball in there if you have nobody to aim at.

Excellent penalty yesterday. It doesn't get any more 'top corner' than that. It reminded me of Ballack's penalty against Breman a few years ago. Although I don't like that Hazard has stopped taking penalties since he missed against Nordsjaelland.

Yeah we've got Aston Villa, Norwich, Leeds etc so he should be playing well. I have praised him in the past and will do in the future. Remind me what he did in the games against Juventus, Shakhtar, Bayern, Barcelona etc...I'll wait. He is a luxury player who is great when we're on top of games but not so much against teams that pressure and close down the space he requires. I didn't know the Mata fanboys were as bad as the Torres ones.

Yawn. Mata is easily nullified. He doesn't have the pace or physicality to deal with being tightly marked. He requires time and space to work magic.
