  1. Yeah we've got Aston Villa, Norwich, Leeds etc so he should be playing well. I have praised him in the past and will do in the future. Remind me what he did in the games against Juventus, Shakhtar, Bayern, Barcelona etc...I'll wait. He is a luxury player who is great when we're on top of games but not so much against teams that pressure and close down the space he requires. I didn't know the Mata fanboys were as bad as the Torres ones.
  2. Yawn. Mata is easily nullified. He doesn't have the pace or physicality to deal with being tightly marked. He requires time and space to work magic.
  3. No one is picking on Mata you imbecile. We're having an adult conversation so calm down.
  4. I can't disagree with you on that, fair enough. Maybe it's just my frustration but Mata is too soft and small in these kind of games. He just tends to be overwhelmed physically and becomes a non-factor. Hazard has done well all season in my opinion, it's just the expectation levels are through the roof with him. As for Oscar he's a special talent, he will become our best and most important player with more time. Mata has 4 years on them and is an experienced international.
  5. I don't think he's our best player, he's just in the best form out of all the players. I expect Hazard and Oscar to be better players.
  6. Mata is great with no pressure. Unfortunately against the better teams he won't get that luxury.
  7. Long-term I think we might be better off without Mata.
  8. I thought Mata was rubbish. Goes missing in tough games.
  9. Close but no, that honour goes to Liverpool 2005.
  10. God I hate this wanker so much. Makes my blood boil.
  11. I'm not a massive Walcott fan but he is a proven Premier League player. Only 23 years old and we need more English player for the FA squad rules. I don't see what the problem is. We only have Moses, Mata, Hazard and Oscar for the attacking positions. What happens if one or two of those players pick up injury? There is something going on with Marin that we don't know about that the club aren't making public. Piazon is irrelevant. Walcott adds depth and competition for places.
  12. I'm going to agree with Henrique. I watched the Corinthians game and they didn't look good at all. If we play well we should win easily. I don't think Corinthians would finish in the top half of the Premier League.
  13. If we do buy Fellaini then it's a massive shift, in terms of style, from what the club have reportedly been aspiring too. But it's just like them to have a plan and then change their mind so it wouldn't surprise me. Don't get me wrong Fellaini is a good player but how does he fit in? I just can't see it.
  14. Can't even do a proper knee slide. GET RID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Not a bad approach to take when you have as much fire-power as they do. In fact we tried the 'you score, we'll score more' thing earlier in the season but only have one striker and he's shit.
  16. Fernandinho is quality. Better footballer than both imo and I like Ramires a lot.
  17. You have obviously seen him play a lot so how do you rate him? Strengths? If we did sign him he would also need 6 months to a year to adapt to the league like Ramires. He really isn't a viable option in January.
  18. Yep. If he was Paul from Birmingham he wouldn't even be on the radar.
  19. Paulinho looks very ordinary. Solid but nothing special. Not a particularly good passer either.
  20. It's Lukaku's number lol but he's away. No wonder the training gear looks a little baggy for Didier, Lukaku is a XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL
