Agree fully with your post, I don't like position Conte seems to play him in. Freedom in midfield for him, but it could be that Conte hasn't been satisfied with his defensive work rate in midfield so he pushed him higher up.

Honestly I hate this story media are trying to create. For one, why is club supposed to "give" Conte the players he "wants"? They are not pokemons, and sometimes it's impossible to get them. I was very disappointed with his game, especially after Mertesacker was subbed. If Michy fails to make day miserable for players like Monreal and Holding then he can't get angry if Morata starts ahead of him soon. He was up against 3 CBs though, our squad should've helped him a bit also. While I do find your post funny for Costa joke, I disagree. Morata had a good run which Willian found with outside of his boot, he had a nice chance with his head, and when Pedro was sent of, he was tasked with defensive duty which means all of his intelligent runs are at the opposite side to stop Arsenal from scoring 2nd goal. Remember back when he run back to cover LB position as Azpi was cought out of position. Not really he could've done anything tbh.

What price you find for Drinkwater acceptable? I find it reasonable around 30m, Leicester still earns and we don't spend that much (considering the current situation in the market).

He has a point. Some players really need to step up mentally this season. I don't blame Courtois one bit, what he did took some proper balls, but guess what, fans understand that and they forgive, they respect the balls.

I got no problem with his attitude. That tackle was full of work rate, passion and commitement. Yes, sometimes playing like that will get you sent of, but I prefer that then to have him jogging around waiting for our team to win a ball. And it was for a yellow card anyway. I have a conspiracy theory, red card was given in order to increase probability of penalties so they could be tested.

While I do agree our squad is really thin, I believe that if we recalled some of our players from loans that paper would overflow Similar with Arsenal, if 20-30% of players from their list were in our squad, they would be on loan now and we would be in same situation.

If I was Barca first choice fullback, I wouldn't be looking to leave honestly. But from our side, it would be a realistic target.
