  1. He should be furious at himself, should have submitted a transfer request before getting furious with the club and being silent before that.
  2. Same, people shouldn't joke with news about Belotti. I shall aim for the knee if they joke with us!
  3. I do think they want to sell him, it is just they know that there are not other quality CBs available in the market. By holding onto him as long as possible, his price will rise as clubs grow more nervous and reluctant to play hard ball over the fee. I agree with what you said though, to me is seems we are one of rare clubs who don't turn into complete assholes when a players wants to leave, I respect club for that even though it fires back on us also.
  4. It's really down to Ox, if he comes and states his desire to leave, not a lot they can do because they risk having him for an average season and then leaving for free. 35m is quite a bit more then 0m.
  5. At least they didn't sack him two times after winning them titles It's just mind games mate, nothing personal
  6. Hello friends. On this forum we have so many different people with various backgrounds, I thought it would be interesting to find out what every one of us is doing for living at this moment? This is something I absolutely have no idea when it comes to TC members, it's not a topic often discussed so I find it worth being opened. It would also be interesting to share with us some funny stories from your job and some not so funny ones also. I can start to break the ice. I'm a computer programmer, though I could also be called a computer scientist as I have recently started working as a researches in the field of artificial inteligence and machine learning. My favorite languages are C++, Java and Python, though I had some funny relationships with PHP, JavaScript, Haskell, C and C#. My studies were very difficult so I wasn't around in the last couple of years on the forum that much, but damn I missed this place. It's funny to remember now that 7 years ago when I joined, I could barely write a program to sum 2 numbers while today I have experienced so much from the field of computer science that I find it rather shocking now. It is very nice to grow together with TalkChelsea during these years. In my past, I've also worked in KFC in the kitchen, I also sold souvenirs to tourist and I must admit that these 2 jobs thought me much different yet extremely useful skills. They thought me how to get my hands really dirty and how to haggle to the extreme. Currently I work as a Android programmer and faculty teaching assistant at Faculty of Mathematics in my country. Your turn now, please tell us about yourselves!
  7. Awful mate, go erase it as soon as possible! Joking, love it!
  8. We miss him off the pitch for sure. I am sad that players like him, Lamps, Gerrard and others have become so so rare in today's football. For me, they are what football truly was, not this moneymediatattoofancyhaircut bullshit we have today.
  9. We are very lightweight on the wings positions, he could get a chance to stay in England and he is one of the rare players who would bring a new dimension into our squad. Certainly makes sense to try singning him, who knows...But I think the problem would be his wages, I remember being reported that he asked some crazy numbers.
  10. Man 7 years on this place, now I look at the numbers, posts and members. We've come quite far, so happy to see it! TALKCHELSEA
  11. I was more impressed with Musonda during the pre season, but I hope this lad gets a good run this season. If he turns out well, we can avoid spending shitload of money for a similar player and can actually use some of our young players.
  12. That is great news, I was worried he was going to take longer when it comes to trainning sessions. Hopefully he stays injury free this season, we could have a gem on our hands. If he forms a proper partnership with Kante, we could have the best pivot duo in England that could play for quite a few years to come.
  13. Haha I do think that me forgetting that exactly explains my point. So many that you forget them all, and that one is one of the worst ones
  14. I think we are at least equally to be blamed. Sacking managers, exploting youth system, Terry incident with Bridge, Terry incident with Ferdinand, Mourinho 2 times with you are all against me mentallity, Costa stomping on Can, Costa pushing and provoking opposition players, Costa situation now, selling Cech and Matic to rivals, Kennedy China incident. I even remember some racial incidents in the couple of previous years off the pitch. Of course, there is quite a bit of positives also, but I we are also to blame for negativity against the club. Still, journalist don't help, I do think they like us the least of all bigger clubs in England.
  15. Unless they have bugged some of our rooms or key people, there is no way they could know that. Those are the things between board and Antonio, and neither would profit from a situation like that leaking into the media. It's all bullshit they create in order to sell newspapers and earn money from ads. Currently Chelsea is a hot topic for them. This is one of the reasons why it is so hard to win PL title 2 years in a row, journalists rip you a new one. Assholes.
  16. I am 100% sure that if we stopped early, fans would get angry and say we didn't try hard enough And to be honest, there wasn't really attractive CBs to bring beside them. And do take into consideration that at the time we had Zouma (I know he was injured), Christensen and Ake, so not really good to bring players just for the sake of it.
  17. I understand the frustration, but I can't really blame the board for Koulibaly and Stones, they tried everything to sign them, same with Sandro if I was to believe media about our bids.
  18. Welcome to TC mate, enjoy your stay! Here is some celery for you
  19. Haha Morata unhappy His time in London is so short he barely had the time to remember where does he live Amazing how Morata is unhappy, yet Matic is top midfielder now at Manu.
  20. Sorry mate, meant Europe with my 2nd England
  21. I agree with your on the speed of our transfer activity, it is bad, no argument there. For me it is very difficult to comment on our alternatives because we only get what media reports, but haven't we tried signing Cancelo from Valencia and apparently Van Dijk is reported to sign. With Van Dijk maybe we are thinking of Azpi on the right? And there is another thing, other teams know we are kinda desperate. They will exploit it by dragging on the transfers, asking for lots and lots of money etc. I think it's best we wait for transfer period to end and then evaluate our signings? And another question, are there really any decent avaliable backup options that won't cost the world? Remember what happend with Baba, so much money down the drain. I would rather we play someone from our youth team or recall Zouma.
  22. I am not sure how I feel regarding PSG situation. For me, it is good to see another league grow and make bigger competition to Germany, Spain and England. On the other hand, I don't like the crazy amounts of money that PSG is throwing, they are completely destroying the market. Besides, Neymar irritates me. competitiveness in England has grown so much that top clubs have trouble because of it, I expect clubs from England not to do so well in Europe this year and I think most of you would agree with me that if any club from PL faced PSG in CL, PSG would be favorites.
  23. Makes me so sad that these days grow up looking up to tiny wankers with fancy haircuts like Neymar and Justin Bieber...
  24. I think that's crap what Sky wrote. They apparanently want to explot our media coverage with Costa and get some people reading their articles. If club wanted Costa to stay, certain steps would've been taken much eariler. Reason why Chelsea want Costa at the trainning ground is simple, he has a contract from which he earns 180k per week. That contract says that he needs to visit training sessions which he doesn't do, hence the fine because contract is not honored. Club wants to show him that he cannot boss them around and that is he who is employed at the club, not the other way around.
  25. I agree, but haven't we tried signing Alex Sandro, Walker and Danilo, yet failed? Can't say Roman is tightening the purse strings if we were willing to dump 50+ million on Alex Sandro? And don't forget we've already broken our transfer record this season with Morata.
