What I said about his crossing and passing is not based on his Bolton game but all of his games for us though. As for the goal itself, it's kinda a trend in football that when players score from outside the box with a low shot, not a lot of attention is turned toward the goal when you compare the headlines when the balls goes higher up. We don't see often the headlines of "Oscar scores a screamer to give Chelsea a lead" but instead is like "Oscar with a nice goal to put Cheerless through". It's only a nice goal ... Oscar did well on this game but I must say I got disappointed with his passing on a few occasions. I feel he lacks the cutting edge passing to succeed as a n10 for us and this has been on my mind for quite a while.

I'm sad Salah lacks the natural technique with the ball overall in terms of passing and crossing. If he had that he would be one of the most dangerous wingers in the world when you look at his incredible speed and pace. Shame... Did alright in the first half, but disappeared somewhere in the second. Lost his energy I guess. This has United written all over it. I see it happening in the summer for 70 million... It's not such a BRILLIANT transfer though, Ronaldo is a player who relies a lot on his speed, strength and agility...being 30 that's only going to be declining now. I woudn't expect him to kick ass longer then 2 seasons in England at all. For the money required for his transfer and wages I don't think that's enough (except United will gain a lot when it comes to marketing though)...

I agree with that. Oscar was below expectation for a while and I believe we can all agree on that. My biggest issue with some fans is when the following happens: Player A is a scrapegoat. Player A plays badly, Player B plays badly => Fans: Player A was bloody awful! Player A does alright, player B is invisible => Fans: Player A was awful, the hell was that? And yeah, he has the biggest chance of dropping to the bench since our defense is leaking and we all know Jose doesn't like that. I said it the moment we signed Fabregas that Oscar's position in team is under threat and I still remain under that impression. Sure, they are not on the same position, but generally I find our team much nicely balanced with Ramires playing with Cesc and Matic in a midfield trio. They can defend, they can pass, they can run, they can press, really complete trio I must say. Still to early to judge for me though, I'll give Oscar until January to show what he can do and they say what I generally think. This ain't FIFA after all ...

I really really hope we sign this lad. He is absolutely the most talented defender in the world. It's like you took the best from Carvalho and Terry and molded it into one player. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to overrate him or I'm saying he's world class, but for his age, he's at a great level. A very very complete defender. Hopefully we can bring him since our defense is kinda short term. I trust we can bring him since it appears there's some bad atmosphere at Madrid, and Varane may be left frustrated of having to defend while bunch of their attacking players pose for the cameras. Yeah Ronaldo and Messi score like crazy, but when they were younger there were playing more like Hazard with less direct position in team and more focus in wing play and crossing. I love it how Messi's and Ronaldo's goalscoring record is used to lower Hazard's success, but the fact that PL defenses are much tougher to break gets somehow forgotten... Hazard will get there, just watch him set the world on fire. I'm scared of losing him, especially after Mourinho's financial comments. The thing with United is that yes their squad is not balanced, but what worries me is that they won't stop spending money now, they'll keep doing it.
