Disappointed me in the last few months but hopefully he can make a cracking return to our squad and benefit from Costa and Fabregas in the team. I really like the lad but he needs to step it up again. Bags of potential though and after a well deserved rest hopefully he can be the old Oscar we know and like.

I always liked Thibaut a lot and was very optimistic when we signed him. He has shown us how is a youngster supposed to break into our team. Our handling of his loan was great too. I'm actually still surprised at how well his loan at Madrid actually worked. Great to have him back!

It seems to me that ever since Cesc's move to Barcelona the hype about him has lowered. He's an absolute beast player and I believe that quite a big portion of the football world will be surprised at just how good Cesc is. I'm under the impression he has been forgotten and that Jose will milk out the best out of him. Can't wait to see him back in EPL!

I'm 50-50 for this transfer. Cavani is a brilliant player whom we actually can sign without too much trouble. Do we need him? Short term thinking says no, but long term says yes because Drogba is here for 1 season while all that's keeping Torres at the club are his high wages which basically leaves us with only Costa. Signing Cavani would give us lots of firepower up front which we actually do need. He can definitely do better then Drogba and Torres. I'm fully against 2 strikers starting on our regular formation. We have way too much offensive players and midfielders to sacrifice one position so we could field another striker. If it happens, I'm happy, if it doesn't, I'm still happy.

I like Salah. He offers us something different. Being left footed he's can play as and inside forward on the right or a classic left winger. With a good amount of pace and dribbling he can offer us danger of the flanks but also versatility and squad depth. Obviously he is not Chelsea quality, but at 22 and money we played for him he's a great squad player to have with no pressure above his head big money signings have. He can only benefit from playing with players like Hazard, Fabregas and Costa while being coached by Jose. What he really needs to improve is his finishing, passing and decision making. His decision making will be much better once he settled in the club and his fitness is at the highest level possible, but it will also benefit more if the team plays immensely ofansively well like we did in 2010 making him look better then actually is. That's would help him because it would give him lots of confidence which I think he needs quite a bit. As for finishing and passing, it's work work and work. He has all resources available to him so it's all up to training and hitting that ball until he starts dreaming of it. Ultimately, we can sell him and make some profit if he fails to impress at all, but we have a young pacy skillful player in him that will work hard for the team and I look forward to having him as a backup for this long season ahead. Not so long ago when things weren't going well we had... Kalou or Malouda to put on. He looks a bit awkward and shy to me and still actually not believing he's at Chelsea working under Mourinho and playing alongside some players he used to watch out TV. Kinda. We can't deny that his work rate, mentality and performances haven't deserved him that though. I feel he deserves a pay rise and he'll be very happy to know his work is appreciated. His last ditch tackling and blocking are probably the best in the world. He has made so many last second tackles, blocks and clearances that I get lost in memories just by getting to remember it. Even yesterday with his hand (on his chest). He never complained when being on the bench but instead worked harder and pushed Luiz away from starting 11. That's something I really like and respect.

I always knew he's strong and defensively very solid but I never expected his passing to be so deadly. Absolutely brilliant! Makes me really proud, lovely lad!

What really made me happy with Costa is not his assists, goal and strength. It's how he got up and wanted to shove it up defender's arse for that tackle. That's what a leader and a brave player does and that's a player that won't be bothered by media when say he's a flop. Instead he'll make opposition shit themselves and score a couple of goals, and then rub it and anyone's face who doubted him. I'm surprised with his speed and at just how well he dribbles and controls the ball sometimes. In Costa we have one of the most complete strikers in the world at the moment, and I'm really bloody happy about it! And those 2 passes really speak about his attitude and passion for win. I'm really growing on Costa, he's a badass !

It's obvious Jose believes Zouma has enough quality for our squad this season so I doubt we would go in for a CB in this window, and I'm rather happy with that, Kurt is a great lad! As for midfield, it depends. I believe we should sell Mikel and push Van Ginkel and Romeu ahead. That leaves us with Matic, Fabregas, Ramires, Van Ginkel and Romeu which is enough depth even for 4-3-3 rather then 4-2-3-1. It would be lovely if we brought it someone like Vidal, a good all around hard working player with the right mentality, but I am not sure about how much is club ready to spend on a another big signing, especially considering we have 2 very talented players in Romeu and Van Ginkel who actually both impressed and are 22/21, which is also perfectly understandable. Striker is what worries me. It seems that in the last couple of years, it was always a striker on fire that was bringing titles to the clubs or giving their games that cutting edge. Ibra, Van Persie, Suarez, Aguero and the rest. Hopefully we can get that with Costa, but having 36year old Drogba and 55 30 year old Torres is really not an adequate backup option for a very intense long and hard season we have ahead, especially considering that it is expected of us to win silverware. It's not that our situation on this department is bad, but I can't say it's brilliant either.

I really really like this lad. Works really hard, very positive attitude and incredible physique. Was really good today and I'm really happy he got the full 90. It seems Jose has really big plans for him. Keep it up Kourt!
