Eden needs to entertain him, otherwise Costa will turn into Hulk for being on the bench and do COSTA SMASH!
-
Because he is the German Messi and maybe just maybe he'll start playing like one?
-
For me, Eden is the 2nd best dribbler in the world after Messi. And I really mean this! It's just amazing how incredible he is with the ball at his feet. FFS I can't control the ball like this even in FIFA after a number of years ! You could see it in his eyes yesterday when he was getting ready to come in, he really wanted to enjoy a game of football
-
His general game is fine and I'd expect him to do much better along a partner like Terry rather then Christensen like in the last game. He should've cleared that cross for their goal but honestly it was a brilliant cross. He has the talent, he has amazing players to learn from and he has José to work with him if needed also. All aligned for him to make it to our first team in a few years. His jumping is absolutely incredible xD needs to work hard on his heading technique and he'll start scoring like crazy
-
He definitely works hard and that can only be a big plus. He could play an important part this season in the cups and when we need more versatility or when we're chasing result. What disappoints me game after game with Salah is his football intelligence and decision making. Sadly they limit his game and throughout all of our pre season I believe I haven't seen a single genius move from him. Best part of his game was his explosive running into empty space. He even disappointed me with his dribbling, but I guess I may be spoiled after watching Eden for so long with that glue on his feet and fifa humiliation of opponents xD Mohammed can be really good when we need counter attacks or as a late sub when we're chasing result and that's what's he's gonna be doing this season pretty much. If he does that well and we win PL or CL I'd expect his general confidence to grow and that next season he does much better, bur this season from him I expect a hard working pacy mediocre squad player who needs more time, experience and games.

Still over the moon Cesc is our player now. I am not lying when I say that I can pretty nicely guess who will we try to sign but I never would've expected Fabregas transfer to happen. Not that I thought we couldn't sign him, but I simply forgot about him since he got overshadowed by Barca stars. Amazing player, I expect him to become our most important player easily and what's much more important is that other offensive players will get much more space and better passes with Cesc in the team. And damn he was brilliant in the last game. That goal - take a bow son !
-
Damn injuries... I really hope we bring in a secure backup striker, injury to Costa and we can pretty much say goodbye to the PL... I hope big D is going to be fine, but if he's gonna be sidelined for some time, then I'd expect us to bring in another striker.

Jose will assign Diego Costa to iron Eden out. Once Diego is done, Eden will eat lighting and crap thunder while not even trying !He also needs ball boys to kick! [emoji48]

Arsenal bring Cavani and they suddenly have a very very dangerous squad. Hopefully Cavani stays in PSG...
-
Not that they ain't saints, they are among the dirtiest and cheapest CBs in the world xD Ramos is the brain and Pepe is the muscle...
-
Well a bit, but not that much. They certainly made him a much better all around player, which is of course great.
-
He needs a team that's gonna put him up front and feed him with crosses and through balls. Instead bunch of times it was Ibrahimovic who was on all those positions where Cavani would've wanted to be. You can see how well Higuain did when Napoli put him up front and stared giving him chances just like they did to Cavani. It seems dumb to sell Cavani with Ibra not getting any younger.
-
Disappointed me in the last few months but hopefully he can make a cracking return to our squad and benefit from Costa and Fabregas in the team. I really like the lad but he needs to step it up again. Bags of potential though and after a well deserved rest hopefully he can be the old Oscar we know and like.
-
I always liked Thibaut a lot and was very optimistic when we signed him. He has shown us how is a youngster supposed to break into our team. Our handling of his loan was great too. I'm actually still surprised at how well his loan at Madrid actually worked. Great to have him back!
-
It seems to me that ever since Cesc's move to Barcelona the hype about him has lowered. He's an absolute beast player and I believe that quite a big portion of the football world will be surprised at just how good Cesc is. I'm under the impression he has been forgotten and that Jose will milk out the best out of him. Can't wait to see him back in EPL!

I'm still hoping Torres would accept a pay cut and move to Atletico [emoji19]
-
Great buy for Atletico. I wish them all the best and I'd really like to see them win the title again ;D
-
If he really failed his medical then a no. If he's healthy then yes as a good backup option and someone used to PL already. Move for Loic would only make sense of we can all Torres of course...
-
I would love to see him here on the right wing, though it seems we are not interested. I think we'll be seeing him in PSG...
-
60 million pounds?! For fuck's sake does he eat lighting and crap thunder!? XD
-
Dude xD" In May, a Geneva court ruled that Rybolovlev should pay $4.5 billion as a divorce settlement to his ex-wife. "
-
I'm 50-50 for this transfer. Cavani is a brilliant player whom we actually can sign without too much trouble. Do we need him? Short term thinking says no, but long term says yes because Drogba is here for 1 season while all that's keeping Torres at the club are his high wages which basically leaves us with only Costa. Signing Cavani would give us lots of firepower up front which we actually do need. He can definitely do better then Drogba and Torres. I'm fully against 2 strikers starting on our regular formation. We have way too much offensive players and midfielders to sacrifice one position so we could field another striker. If it happens, I'm happy, if it doesn't, I'm still happy.

I like Salah. He offers us something different. Being left footed he's can play as and inside forward on the right or a classic left winger. With a good amount of pace and dribbling he can offer us danger of the flanks but also versatility and squad depth. Obviously he is not Chelsea quality, but at 22 and money we played for him he's a great squad player to have with no pressure above his head big money signings have. He can only benefit from playing with players like Hazard, Fabregas and Costa while being coached by Jose. What he really needs to improve is his finishing, passing and decision making. His decision making will be much better once he settled in the club and his fitness is at the highest level possible, but it will also benefit more if the team plays immensely ofansively well like we did in 2010 making him look better then actually is. That's would help him because it would give him lots of confidence which I think he needs quite a bit. As for finishing and passing, it's work work and work. He has all resources available to him so it's all up to training and hitting that ball until he starts dreaming of it. Ultimately, we can sell him and make some profit if he fails to impress at all, but we have a young pacy skillful player in him that will work hard for the team and I look forward to having him as a backup for this long season ahead. Not so long ago when things weren't going well we had... Kalou or Malouda to put on. He looks a bit awkward and shy to me and still actually not believing he's at Chelsea working under Mourinho and playing alongside some players he used to watch out TV. I will give him a full season and then asses his future at Chelsea.
-
Kinda. We can't deny that his work rate, mentality and performances haven't deserved him that though. I feel he deserves a pay rise and he'll be very happy to know his work is appreciated. His last ditch tackling and blocking are probably the best in the world. He has made so many last second tackles, blocks and clearances that I get lost in memories just by getting to remember it. Even yesterday with his hand (on his chest). He never complained when being on the bench but instead worked harder and pushed Luiz away from starting 11. That's something I really like and respect.
-
I always knew he's strong and defensively very solid but I never expected his passing to be so deadly. Absolutely brilliant! Makes me really proud, lovely lad!
