ah great..even frank acting like a twat now...can`t condone speeding unless there`s a legitimate reason for it..e.g wife/girlfriend giving birth..one of his kids needed urgent medical treatment. otherwise it`s just like with drink driving, it`s an arrogant selfish act. nobody got hurt this time..hope he learns from it. he is smarter than the average footballer,so there`s hope.

well we do on the right side.. i`d love us to sign Eden sometime soon...maybe if we got Lukaku first he would push for a move to join up with his fellow young compatriot at a major european club like ours. Belgium got some seriously talented youngsters these days..

i don`t want to be the one to tell most you guys i told you so regarding Ramires, but i did, so i will..:champions: love the way our boys, everyone of our outfield players hounded the mancs around the field in the second half. could see within a few minutes of the half that their players did not come out expecting that! Chelsea in great form until Yuri goes down....Yuri comes back,Chelsea come back. just saying...:eyebrows:

Chelsea's spending spree will continue in summer
Duppy Conqueror replied to J.F.'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
as for additions i`d say mostly just keep those we have loaned out and and add one striker if Drogba goes. a right back if Bos goes, a right sided or "number 10" attacking midfielder and a better back up for Cech, someone who has some experience but isn`t too expensive and we`ll be set for a few years. Hilario looks to be retiring ,Turnbull isn`t good enough so he can go to..sell Kalou, sell Ferriera,..sell either Anelka or Drogba and that`s it. not that many new signings and departures really and we would have a good blend of experience and youth. -

Neymar would be better if we played in a nancy boy league where they have a "roughing the princess" results in an automatic sending off, policy. but for the premiership which is generally more important to english chelsea fans if not to foreign based ones. playing in the big boys league with a 12 year olds body and from the last i heard about him someone with a 12 year old`s mentality. he would just be another Robinho..perhaps worse because Robinho was stronger than Neymar is when he came here. Lukaku is a better fit for us because although being only 17 (perhaps 18 by now i dunno) he already has a body as big as Drogba..is a carbon copy of Drogba only 15 years younger and as far as i can see, more consistent mental maturity than Drogba.(as much as we all love Drogs i don`t think anyone can honestly deny that he can be a bit of a twat on times) being almost a carbon copy of Drogba means that we don`t have to alter the tactics and formation to suit him. what suits him is already in place. so Lukaku is a better fit for us because of size, strength, maturity,a skill set that suits our play and the premiership, known for loving chelsea so won`t be a springboard to a move to Real Madrid in a couple of years claiming that the weather doesn`t suit him,Belgium has similar weather conditions to Britain so him settling in and staying for the long haul would be a lot more likely than if the sunshine kid came over..oh and Lukaku has experience of European tournaments. can bump your gums all you like about what Neymar is doing in a kiddie tournament, but Lukaku has already graduated into the big boy tournaments and done well. it all depends tho if we want to pay 25m for a Drogba/Anelka replacement or 35m for someone to compete with Kakuta. i`m not saying Neymar is a bad player and i`m sure on fifa he`s a dreamboat..but certain players just aren`t cut out for the premiership..would be like throwing Bambi into a herd of rampaging wilderbeasts... it only takes about 10 minutes of watching Lukaku and he looks like a natural for the Prem and the other more masculine leagues around Europe. haven`t counted how many that is but it seems like more than 5...if not throw in the fact that Lukaku would have no work permit issues like Neymar could have. now care to tell us how Neymar is 10 times better than Lukaku.? -
not against us but the way Ferdinand elbow smashed that Wolves player in the face deliberately (could just see by the way his facial expression changed just before his elbow sunk into his face there was venom behind it...) the way the whole Ferdinand flees from drug test got handled ,brushed under the carpet and made a future England captain, even tho he shouldn`t even get in the squad....loved the way Butch spoke about JT still being the real England captain before the Copenhagen game btw..that was a treat to hear .

why not wait till there`s a trial or some form of legal investigation before printing the story? if he`s charged by the police or suspended by the club then well, there`s no hiding what happened from our kids. media don`t care about such things though. they will spew pages upon pages of how someone is guilty before a trial and then if he`s found not guilty there will be a single paragraph ,maybe two, tucked away usually on the bottom left hand corner of page 48 or some other obscure hardly ever properly read page.

Just another flawed human being like the rest of us prone to mess things up from time to time ...the media will say stuff like "what example does this set to kids" bypassing the fact that if it wasn`t for them kids wouldn`t know. what he allegedly did was wrong but like so many things these days regarding famous people...do we really need to know? what good does it do in knowing such things? if the media of recent times would have been around in WWII the Nazi scum would have won the war, because when Britain was the only big power in the west standing up against them, whilst the yanks were sitting around twiddling their thumbs waiting for the countries involved to exhaust themselves before stepping in to claim all the glory...our great leader Winston Churchill had a mental health disorder and everyone on the planet would have had to know about it before these short sighted media twats would have rested. Churchill`s great "We shall NEVER Surrender" speech would have just been seen as the words of a maniac who shouldn`t be listened to and the country would have folded just like France,Netherlands etc..before us. there. i`m just about finished but to round up my point..yes if it`s true that Ashley did shoot some kid with an air rifle, it`s wrong and the club should punish him.etc.. ...but so is the media wrong for stopping our kids having any heroes by unearthing every human flaw they may or may not actually have. no more unflawed role models these days? there never has been! just responsible journalism in the past.

R.I.P puts the "misery" of us probably not winning the premiership this season into perspective... can remember him well, seen him play many times..i think i probably seen him play against Chelsea for all the clubs he played for. He was a quality player(though we often would have good days when we played against him)..didn`t quite live up to his early promise,as at one point he looked like a future England star..kinda like an earlier version of Micah Richards,in more ways than one. (maybe they were related?) but none the less, for those of us who follow football closer than just the superstar names he will be remembered.
-
for scoring the winner against Leeds on his last ever game for us ,the last game of Claudio`s reign and i pray to the lord above the last ever game those ferret fucking northern monkies play in the premiership. he will get a standing ovation from me. then there`s the other crucial goals he scored for us..like the game up at Anfield in that winner qualifies for the CL game.

Arnesen to join Hamburg as sporting director
Duppy Conqueror replied to chrismada9's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
he said he wanted a challenge..moving to Madrid or Manchester..he might aswell have stayed with us. just because he chose to go to Hamburg does not mean that only them wanted him. -
maybe he could play there but when the team is lacking in options to provide width, the last thing we should do is move one of the few players we have who can provide it,inside. with Malouda being so out of form,Yury should start the next few games atleast in his position. now that he`s fit to play again..

if anyone has a dick like his face..they should head on over to the STD clinic ,pronto.

Jack Cork leaves for Southampton
Duppy Conqueror replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
i wonder if maybe part of JC`s problem has been that he`s too versatile..those kind of players seem to not get any further than the fringes of our team. if we were back to the days of only being able to have 3 subs then he may have been more involved by now because of that versatility but with seven subs, players like that get overlooked. i wish Chelsea had just given him a chance at one position and let him grow into it but with no pun intended, on what he`s been able to show them (through no fault of his own) is that he`s a "jack of all trades, master of none"! he could have been so much more than that by now tho and like Zolayes i too have pretty much given up all hope on us giving him a proper chance. would not surprise me in the least if we tried to sign him back in 4 or 5 years time for 4 or 5 times the price we will probably end up letting him go for. -
looking forward to seeing Yury back. prior to his latest injury i thought he was doing some good things with us(as he always has when given the chance)...since he`s been out we have slumped and although it`s down to many things, i think we could have won atleast 4-6 more points if we had a fit Zhirkov during that time. Yuri is one of the few players at our club who can actually go past players with the ball at his feet (Ash,Bos,Malouda,Kakuta & Sturridge being the others..atleast when on form or in the case of Danny and Gael, at the club) ..the majority of our players rely on passing or drifting past them without the ball to get on the end of a pass to get past their man...in both cases it obviously relies on being able to produce good passing and if that`s poor as it is overall at present, then it`s no wonder we have stumbled so much. if Yury hits the floor running on his return i think he could be the spark we need to get back on track. Yury`s return could also send the rocket up Malouda`s arse that he looks like he needs at present!

i don`t think any player in my entire years of watching Chelsea has ever torn me over how i feel about them, the way Drogba has. i know he plays for the Ivory Coast, was born there etc... but when i think about the stereotypical french man..it isn`t Maka,Malouda nor during his time with us Anelka...it`s Didier Drogba. so talented and brilliant when he`s in the mood..but when he`s sulking we might aswell have Hilario upfront. players like that piss me off because you got a guy like Kalou who doesn`t have half his skill set but not once has he sulked or given anything short of 100%, if Drogba had that he would be classed among the greatest centre forwards to ever play the game not just what he will probably be regarded as when he hangs up his boots..one of the best CF`s of his generation. with age, mood, health and possibly deminishing skills..yeah i think the summer is the right time to let him go..aslong as we are offered something in return for him. i hope they don`t do what they done with Crespo tho..just loan him out till his contract runs out.

How do you deal with a Chelsea Loss
Duppy Conqueror replied to Krypt's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
how i react to a defeat depends on the circumstances....when we weren`t as good as we are these days i found it easier..chelsea fans in general had a better sense of humour about these things back then and it wasn`t so much the individual defeats that got to us but the season as a whole..rage was spread out etc.. aslong as we beat the shite hart laners, got our annually good result at Old Trafford and not get relegated it was ok. some of the most painful defeats have occured for me in the Champions league semi-finals we always seem to get robbed..even the Monaco game their full back handled the ball before it went in ,the `94 cup final was minging too..after that defeat i was inconsolable..i just thought all my life i`ve been waiting for this moment and now it`s turned to shit..for me to feel like that again i think i would have to get Megan Fox into my bedroom only to discover that she`s got a cock. i never handle any defeat well really but i guess i`d say when we lose away in the group stages of the champions league are the ones i`m best behaved at..i try and just make the most of it and treat it as a holiday and i think the main reason is that we are usually already through before we lose games in the champions league group stage. -
How do you deal with a Chelsea Loss
Duppy Conqueror replied to Krypt's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
at the infamous Boro home game when they sent us down i tried to get over the fence but fell and thought fook it..my pride is already wounded as i hobbled back up the terrace... i was only about 13 at the time so was probably for the best . -
Injuries occur..we could get to the Champions League final and if Cech got injured in the warm up. we won`t get Neuer..he would want 1st team action every week and expect twice as much money as Roman would be prepared to pay for a back-up. but there are about atleast 100 goalies better than Turnbull but not as pricey nor have the same demands of playing time that Neuer would have.

ok i will try and explain my opinion better. it seems like the fans who want Carlo to go are the fans who want us to take the route Real Madrid has gone down in the last say 8 years where they have been overtaken by Barcelona who build something that is far more sustainable. in that time they have had managers/coaches whatever you want to call them who are better than Rykaard and Guardiola ,managers who have had more money to spend on transfers than Barca but those managers have never had enough time to stamp their mark on the team..even when they manage to win a trophy if it aint the Champions league they pretty much always gone by the next season. we have been a bit like that in recent years (tho not as bad, Hiddink and Grant were essentially caretaker managers so i think the 5 managers in 7 years thing can be a little misleading) Real, they demand instant success AND prolonged success which very rarely works out and hasn`t for Real..they get some degree of success but nowhere near the amount they could have had in recent years if they just stopped meddling and shooting themselves in the foot. that is why i want us to keep Carlo..sure he`s not a faultless Coach but in 30 years of following football and watching some of the greatest coaches of all time in action..i`ve yet to find a faultless one. it took Fergie about 4 years before any Man U fan thought he was a great coach.

that is just the second post of this thread i`ve read but i doubt if it could be put any better.especially the last part... folks we are living in the golden era of Chelsea Football club..maybe it`s because i`ve lived through two relegations, atleast two times when we were on the verge of extinction, our owner wanting to put electric fences at the bridge, rotherham putting 6 on us forest putting 7 etc...all the false dawns we`ve had..etc.. but when fans complain to this extent about our club NOW of all times..to me you kind of fans just sound like a bunch of spoilt cunts who demand a brand new car off daddy every year and throw a tantrum if you don`t get it.

well, i guess i better burn my Torres is a ladyboy t-shirt and buy a Torres rocks one now. hoping for the best..
