yeah, i feel ya man. it is a disease in itself but although she was just a kid when she got tangled up in that leach that she married, who seems to have totally screwed her up,albeit she could have said no ..you just can`t help people if they refuse to help themselves tho, they could only do about 10% of the hardwork for her but she had to roll up her sleaves and do the rest but time and time again she couldn`t..she died about 3 years ago really.. i can`t comfortably condemn her because i would feel a hypocrite after being a former addict myself . but what can ya do..like you say there`s those of us who are fighting to live and other people just throwing their life away.

i hear you man is just ya know amongst those killed there could have been a single dad or a wife/husband with no children whose lost everything now..he/she will be in so much pain they will want to die..when you in that frame mind 21 years in prison means nothing. it`s a lifelong on-going battle to be honest mate...i`ll never be the same. but to survive i try and put short lil goals to aim for ahead of me..i can`t think of things like 10 years ahead ,it`s way too long...but at the moment it`s my goal to help my nieces through to when they are fine young women and have the life skills to explore and cope in the world on their own. i declared a few weeks ago on the "how are you feeling?" thread that i have an incurable mental illness but i`ve had that for 21 years anyway. it`s just over traumatic experiences in life can tip me over the edge. anyway man ,let`s get this thread back on track..is too sensitive a subject to derail this thread with my issues.

if they killed a love one of mine like Kostas said a son/daughter or in my case one of my nieces i would do everything in my power to kill him..i lost a son 4 years back and it nearly killed me and it was nobodies fault. but to have someone just wipe out a loved one for whatever reason..it would be my life purpose to wipe them out. i realize not a rational ,christian whatever you want to say attitude but just the reality of the situation would overwhelm me.

i know what you saying Kez..both news sad..but yeah, just by the numbers 92 dead v 1 dead.. i think though that is possibly the main reason why...the deaths of 85 kids essentially and 7 i presume adults is a lot harder for some people to face upto and discuss their feelings about...where as with Amy and her fans like all famous people they get followed in the media so much that some people feel like they kinda know these people..and in Amy`s case even tho she`s only 27 it`s something that has been on the cards for the last 3 or 4 years so it`s not that much of a shock and easier to talk about. .

they`ve been mentioning last night and this morning that he was a christian foundamentalist but why then the political targets..if he wanted to make it look like muslims done it or whatever, why didn`t he go somewhere where he had a better chance to get away. it`s obviously has been a well made plan by himself (if it was only him,i happen to think personally it was only him, atleast as the foot man. i don`t know if i mentioned it here or elsewhere but i can`t see him doing 10 years in prison..suicide perhaps but probably killed by another inmate. he`s gonna be the top security prisoner but accidents happen..

check out sky news mate..is on there (on tv anyway, should be on site though too i presume) she was a good singer..being a former long term drug addict myself i can relate to her and how much of a total scumbag her ex-husband is in getting her into them hard drugs, self harming etc..in the first place.. for the girls out there...don`t follow Amy`s way..don`t throw everything into a relationship give it in stages let it grow naturally, don`t be too eager to please a man until you know he really will love you in a healthy way.. same for guys too i guess am not gonna be in the ques on monday buying everything of hers in the stores like some..erm.."emotional " people will do even though they should already have her stuff already if they actually liked her music. another member of the "27 club." only the second woman after Janis. such a shame..

just been announced on Sky News.. R.I.P Amy. 27 years old..

i just came back from a cruise round Norway(well 3 weeks ago) and saw the island that it happened on. the news on Sky are saying it`s 92 now..85 on Utoya Island,7 on the bombing..maybe i`m slightly desensitized towards bombs a bit (served in countries that have terrorist bombers, lived 20-25 years through the IRA`s bombing campaign on my hometown etc..) but for me even before the numbers of dead came out, when i was watching it live on Sky and it was still on-going. the kids frantically swimming in the sea that would probably kill them if this twisted fuck didn`t with his bullets. it was that part that really disturbed me most..for me that was like the "jumpers" during 9/11 i do agree they are a wonderful group of people,as is the whole of scandinavia...every country is gonna spew out a vile creature from time to time tho i guess and well, they just wasn`t prepared for it because they didn`t have any indication this would ever happened to them. can remember a race hate killer in Stockholm in the 90`s i think it was or was it the 80`s?..can`t recall his name. the Germans occupied Norway twice i believe..WWII is my "mastermind" subject and not as good with WWI..but am pretty sure they occupied Norway then too. the reason they occupied Norway in WWII was because of the hard water to help with their development of bombs and they would in some cases take the blonde women to help build up the Aryan race and more specifically enhance the country full of blue eyed blondes. i won`t go too far into details...fook it`s grim enough as it is. thankfully the great North sea oil supply wasn`t dicovered till 20 years after WWII had ended. if the Nazi`s had actually found out that it was there...then they wouldn`t have had to take on Russia till at the end of the war. Germany & Russia combined with the Japanese..all that oil to feed their killing machines...hardly any of us would have ever existed. anyway back to the present day, my heartfelt thoughts go out to everyone who has lost someone they love, the people still missing and of course the people who have now hopefully found a place that will be betterr than the one they have been so cruelly ripped out of. i suspect the killer is gonna get killed in prison

i vote the sixth one. the white looks alright but then you got the..is it Stamford Bridge or Elland Road? plus the white would get grubby looking and need to be frequently repainted. gotta think of the carbon footprint or whatever it`s called these days..:eyebrows:

indeed that should be case..with the fact we have to name 25 players at the start of the season,we could say that they aren`t gonna be in that 25 so rather than having your career almost completely derailed..ala Santa Cruz at Man City! you better sign elsewhere.
-
priority should be elsewhere for sure, however if we wait till the need is more critical then we could find out that not only will we be even more overpriced than we are already but we might not even be that lucky ,our targets could all be gone. if Lukaku was the only major signing we make then fair enough i`d be as up in arms as anyone, but there`s nothing really to indicate that is the case.

no i don`t think it`s a financial matter..it may not be entirely out of love of the club but maybe their love of playing for one of the best clubs in the world. i do think however fans in general and perhaps more so with our club, try to read too much into what our players, coaches etc..say in the media. stating that they wish to fight for their place or whatever is usual lip service that pretty much almost all players when under contract with a club will say. i don`t see the players mentioned trying to pull off a "Bogarde" they can be an embarresment to the club on times with their girly tantrums and shit but i don`t think they would do that. different situations really anyway..
-
yeah i`d tend to agree that that is what it must be..doesn`t make much sense for a big club like ours to be any part of a deal like that..could understand if we were a smaller club that is just trying some sort of publicity stunt. but no it makes no sense for us.
-
not very well today...since the news has broke of what has happened and is still happening today in Norway,i`ve just put my mind to think about that rather than my own issues.

Welcome to Chelsea Thibaut Courtois.:blue scalf: looks a good keeper from what i`ve seen of him..and hasn`t long turned 19. a bright future ahead.
-
i thought he was all but a Bayern player a month or o ago.. i`d take him..there`s Mikel but no geniune good alternatives at DM so bring him in..

Carlo Cudicini?:eyebrows:

they saying on SSN Man U have yet to put in a formal offer.
-
indeed...Tore Andre Flo was one of the tallest players we`ve ever had..but wasn`t a target man,he was a great finisher on the counter attack with either foot. not so great in the air..where as 5 foot 8 David Speedie was one of the best in the air.
-
one thing i`ve not seen yet when talking about us and Barcelona is that when they lose the ball they hussle to get it straight back...in recent years that is something we have been lacking..too often have we let teams stroll into our half before we challenge them..we should hussle for the ball wherever on the field it is.
-
it used to be "Let`s all do the Seaman" after he got beat from miles out in the almost last second of extra time in the `99 European cup winners cup final for Arsanal..against former sp*rs player Nayim for Real Zaragoza. next game up after that defeat for them we played them and we sung that to him ,with flailling arms etc...sadly he ended up doing it again for England against Brazil.
-
as pretty much all have said..we need a blend of steel and creativity..if we went all out flair and took away our hard edge completely we would become like Arsanal. we shouldn`t completely follow the blue print of any team anyway..not even the all conquering Barcelona! to be the best we can by all means use some of what they do,but will have to add something else to become better than them,if we just copy them we will always be behind them. good topic to bring up for discussion tho Sam..a whole lot more worthwhile than getting involved in some of these wild never gonna happen anyway, transfer speculation from those never heard of before websites.

SSN reporting PSG have offered £13.5m for him.
