i`m sure many would envy you in your position,i probably would if the climate was a lil cooler and snakes didn't scare the crap out of me. i think it`s normal for someone of your age to see a rural place as missing out on many things but i`m sure once you`ve travelled about and seen what is out there your hometown will grow fonder in the heart. as for Modric. as i said earlier. take it or leave it one time offer for him at less than was offered last summer. or we look at other players.

i can`t be too critical of what he does because i`m not sure exactly what he does and doesn't. he does seem to be a bit of a "Yes man" to me ,which isn't something that i like but maybe if i was on his salary or my boss had the same kind of contacts Roman has been rumoured to have i would leave my balls at home too.

as for the Arsenal and Tottenham derby. never care too much to watch that..hated Tottenham for over 30 years and well Arsenal have become more like a french exiles. like the Rangers v Celtic derbies,especially when Rangers smash them.

i love Dortmund. love the history of what that club did and because Schalke was that cunt Hitlers favorite team where as on the other hand Dortmund was (along with Bayern Munich ) anti-Nazi and i believe their entire board room was murdered by the Nazi`s.. then there`s just the fanatical support both teams have,the rivalry on the field from 60 odd years ago.,great atmospheric stadiums.

he`s a thoroughbred whose been used as a donkey for the last decade..maybe he`ll never be able to get back to how good he was but i know starting in 60-70 games a year for club and country as he has done for so many years is not the answer. i hope he retires from international`s soon..i can`t see him playing past the Euro finals anyway,but can see him being scape goated when we get knocked out. he shouldn`t be starting every game for us and when the season is over i don`t see him being the midfielder who plays the most minutes for us during it..if he started say 30 games a season for us in all comps and was used as a impact sub,then i think we all would be pleased with the results. i think AVB has the same idea and that is why we went for a Merieles. we needed someone to score from midfield and understands like the majority of sensible fans that Lampard`s 20plus goals can`t be kept up forever.

he will be eligible to play for the first time this season against Sunderland. no reason to think he`s not loved by AVB.

i`m fine with the signing ,somebody who will contribute and give the usual midfielders time off to keep them fresh without too much of a dip in production.

hope we sign him,but keep him. exciting times.

Olympiacos. greek teams are quite hard to beat on their own turf in the CL..would not surprise me if Arsenal came away from there without a win.

i was one of the ones who said they had an easy group,but that was before i knew they had Dortmund. no Sahin for them now so it`ll be interesting to see how they do,but the team was a lot more than just Sahin,so hopefully they will win their group.

i don`t know mate..she is cute tho agree. all the away days are pretty easy for Chelsea fans in the u.k to get too..i like that.

wonder if having Genk would push through a move for DeBruyne..clutching at straws maybe i know..

pretty tough group so far. not bad away days tho.. Ballack returns to the Bridge and Mata returns to Valencia..have they got their new ground yet?

i don`t see him as being a LB should we sign him,but if we bid 18m and they have demanded 30m i don`t see it happening now anyway.
