I think Golovin would be a rotation guy his first season..he could play all 3 CM positions at a push.have Kante and Jorginho as starting all premiership and FA cup games. and leave that one CM position as an open competition between Barkley,Golovin,RLC with that 3 being our regular UEFA cup and Milk Cup starters. I don`t know about Bakayoko..I just think we gotta find out this year about RLC.i think another loan and his head would be out the exit door so give him a chance,if he`s not upto it then both of us can move on next summer. for me Drinkwater and Cesc should go.not that I think Cesc wouldn`t do a decent job in rotation but for our longterm future in a season where we have some competitions we can give less established young players valuable game time we don`t want Cesc taking it away from them.

we generally give the new manager what he wants or atleast give a serious attempt to, it`s usually later on the club steers away from that. I think Sarri will be given this window and maybe January to inject some ready made talent but will be told that he`s wanted to get the best out of the majority of the current squad and our youth and players that have/are being loaned out.

I would be too if we didn`t have Sarri.if we were going with a different coach because Golovin seems the kind who could play good to great in any system. but as we have Sarri and seen how important Jorginho is to his system. I prefer him..would be great to have both.

might be part of the attraction for Roman..get a coach who he might not need to give severance pay too..

I survived for about 9 years on 30 bongs and 20 Marlboro a day so it`s do-able.

I`d like us to sign him but if it fails I`d be happy enough with no further additions to our central midfield positions after Jorginho. getting Golovin would cause us to need to clear some room for him but I`d be fine with letting Sarri work with just Jorginho being added there. is not like we are short with numbers there,just some who underperformed under Conte. I would like to sign Golovin like I said..just my personal choice for plan B would be that and instead invest at other positions.

I`ve been singing that before I saw this pick. be great to have him back at the club. hopefully he`s treated better than Butch was at the end.

I like Cesc and think he could still do a job for us but keeping him wouldn`t be the best for the long term good of Chelsea..for next season alone yes.but with those games in the Europa cup,Milk cup etc...I think it would be better to play Barkley/RLC etc.. for me this upcoming season we could do a lot of good for our longterm future by giving our youngsters a chance over players winding down their careers in top flight football.

be good to start moving forward again. when something is over,a new adventure is needed,whatever that involves it`s better than being stuck in a situation that ain`t working. no expectations either good or bad..just hope.sometimes hope is all you need.

he isn`t long removed from playing with smaller clubs who embraced the Europa league. he`s not the type to sulk.I don`t see any problem with keeping him,not for one year anyway.he`s more likely to want to get us back in contention than run away from a challenge like the "golden boys".

been so strange since the end of the season..i wouldn`t be shocked if it was announced Roman has sold the club before the summer is over.would explain the silence better than anything else.

just get this shit wrapped up already. we losing out on possible upgrades at positions and replacements ..like Leno and Rui Patricio would have been decent options for GK this season.but now gone already to lesser clubs when we could have snapped up even with our recent bargain bucket raiding transfer policy ..the buy out clause for Sarri we pay for teenagers we then loan out until their mid 20`s.

he could and probably would. although this upcoming season we could use it to regroup and close the gap and come back stronger the year after and beyond . focus on league and F.A cup and seasoning younger guys in U.E.F.A cup ,Milk cup and playing the Cesc,Pedro type roles of bench in big games occasional starter against weaker teams in league and FA cup. I`m not against keeping Cesc. specifically but would like us to take something positive from the upcoming season and letting younger players take some of the veteran fringe players spots.

and Roman has become an Isreali citizen during all this..don`t know what that means regarding the visa..

Argentina blessed with a lot of top drawer forwards.somebody top drawer had to miss out. if we are interested in him it would help us him not being on WC duty.

atleast if Sarri comes we can sing Mau-ri-cio to the same tune as An-toni-o.

when teams hire one of their ex-players to become head coach they usually have a bigger and better legacy than he made with us.but out of our ex-players he`s probably one of the best coaches..done a nice job with Fulham.

up until i was 21 we had only won 1 FA cup in our history and that was 27 years before then. now 21 years later we are now up to 8 FA Cups in our history. gotta pinch yourself sometimes...despite the glory years.still have the old Carefree CFC running through my veins.every win to be celebrated,every loss to be dusted off.

honestly i`d rather us do that than Scumpool win another European cup.slither of a hope we can get in by finishing 4th but if it comes to us playing next year in the European minor cup or European cup with Liverpool as reigning champions i`ll take the former. giving our young players plenty of game time in Europa cup could make us better in the longterm by taking this step back.

i wish we played our semi first. if we was already in it i`d like to face Spurs in the final. if we lose though i don`t want a Spurs v Southampton final, they`d be too likely to win that. as a side note I've been working mostly in Southampton the last 3 years,so been an enjoyable week..hope it`s not ruined tomorrow when i`m back in my hometown.

we are not part of a we..they all hate us and we should hate them or atleast have fun at their expense..next week it will be their turn and you can trawl their forums to see if even one person would be anything less than jubilant if as expected Barcelona knock us out.

we don`t need to sell him,we have the money to compete..sure we need about 300m spent on 5 or 6 quality players to compete for the title we won less than a year ago.sort out the mess in midfield and add a top drawer striker and support upfield. it will be if he wants to leave..just hope Roman don`t pull a Cech.Matic and allow him to be sold to an English rival.

he`s at the age where he needs to be thinking of the move now..there is a time when bigger clubs will simply move on to younger players and he is close to that point..still only young by Italian standards..if he leaves Italy he can expect a transition period before he adjusts to wherever he goes if he does infact ever decide to leave the slow paced comfort of Italy.
