it would be fine if we didn`t spend big in the future on lots of players, if we were more proactive in getting our world class youth players integrated into the first team squad more. then just splash on a few top draw players from elsewhere. the old Barcelona way of winning.

makes some sense as he appears to be ok with being a sub most of the time but can`t help but think would the other big clubs in Europe be worrying about having their 2nd striker being ok about being used as mostly a sub or would they go for 2 great strikers and make them fight it out for who gets the most playing time..our strike force is essentially made up with two subs from elsewhere now if we sign Giroud. i like Morata..just going through a rough patch but would like us to have somebody who will challenge him to play at his peak..Giroud isn`t bad but he`s not that. i expect us to be looking for a top striker in the summer..i think the club don`t want to spend big now because they may think Conte isn`t gonna be here in the summer..they seem only willing to really splash the cash during a new managers first summer in recent years.

if we are after a "target man"..Vokes would be better. but really Dzeko makes by far the most sense.

I enjoyed going to the Calderon .wasn`t so happy coming out usually.new stadium is a great one though and well..epic performance from the team..fully deserved the win even if we had to wait till the last kick to win it. everybody played well..nobody I would say below an 8 but Kante,Morata,Yoko,Alonso deserve a 10 and Hazard a spinal tap 11.

Klopp is the best manager Scumpool has had since Paisley but really he`s not enough with the board/owner to get them a league title unless their youth set up can produce their version of Man U`s class of `92. which is extremely unlikely. it`s his choice when two clubs can agree a price with his club but really it`s hard to understand personally why chose a position on the field over more silverwear and top experiences in football. he was playing his best football of his career at Wing back..if he was playing a position where he was being humiliated at (not counting his last game for Arsenal where he obviously didn`t have his head and heart in it) then it would be understandable. I can`t hate scumpool any more than I always have but really,adds a little spice to seeing them play now. be nice if Drinkwater lines up against him in Midfield and humiliates him.

it didn`t effect the top 2 teams in the league in where they finished but that is crossing percentage so when they did need to/chose to cross they were the worst 2.so there`s room for improvement there..if it was the fewest crosses attempted then it would be more meaningless as they didn`t need to cross but when it`s a percentage of the crosses they attempted that is a failing of doing what they attempted. it would certainly have helped Tottenham with big kane up front and us now with Morata if we can improve there. though I expect if we had Morata last year our crossing percentage may have atleast been abit better.

he`s our wild card signing of the summer..flew completely under the radar but could quite possibly end up being our best RB/RWB since SDP

he`s ignoring the club..so if I was Roman,being filthy rich I would be tempted to not sell him until next summer. take him out of football for a full season now and scupper his WC selection chances.and continue to not pay his wages until he reported back where I would then have him clean the boots of youth players to earn his salary..Roman paid what £70million for a dogshit ugly painting? he could fuck over Costa for less.

I would have at the start of the window but then I didn`t think at that time we were going to let so much go. we also sort of added Christiansen Charley..(I just got off 14 hour flight and my brain is too frazzled to remember how to spell his surname. and you forgot our supersub for penalties GK Willy C

most of his salary will go towards protection for his home when Scumpool are playing away. it`s quite sad if a player prefers what part of the pitch he covers over league titles and other major honours.i would have liked to have him but if that`s true about him then we better off without that type in the long run. our board are well below par for a club of our stature..wish Roman would pull the plug on them the way he has on many of our coaches who have been far better at what they do than our board.

we should have worked on a deal for him when we loaned them Tammy..something like 10m and Tammy for 2 year free ( they pay salary only ) loan. in those 2 years we can build our team around a frontline that has an aerial threat and then in 2 years we have Tammy matured and the team built to help his transition into 1st team matchday squad member. as it is by signing Llorente we would help Tammy anyway..more minutes for him.

the VVD situation hasn`t really encouraged him to say he wants to leave. I think like most players at Southampton and similar level clubs.he would be delighted if Chelsea made an offer Southampton accepted.just doesn`t want to risk spending time in the doghouse.

I enjoyed many moments watching him play for us..Man City away was possibly his Chelsea career highlight but I want players who are fully committed to us..i`d sell better players than him if they weren`t fully committed..seems the unwanted drama is coming to an end at last.

I think Man City are trying to emulate the Ossie Ardiles coached Tottenham that played with 5 attackers. Ardiles got sacked before the end of the season with them near the bottom of the league,his legacy tarnished..i`d like to see Pep go down the same route..but let him blow their fortune first.

nice addition for Tottenham..sold their back up RB/RWB for 50million and replaced him with twice the player at less than half the price. they now have about 14 good players.

if they want Remy they can have him and a bit of cash.both Morata and Llorente good to great in the air so work on our crossing in particular from the right side and the goals will flow. he would be a great guy to have on the bench to read the game like a true veteran and make an impact. also wouldn`t block Tammy`s path to the first team but help our team prepare for him by improving how we play with a big target man.

William could very well do a Willian. although it`s not as close as Willian was..

I would love to have him but we should have started the ball rolling much sooner than this. perhaps when we had midfielders to offer them in a package deal.

Kante is and probably will be for years to come,the least of our problems. I was thinking who in recent times would be his best CM partner and I`d go with Ballack.
