  1. Sorry, worded that really badly lol.. I mean, I thought he was one of our up and coming stars?
  2. No, he'd have needed to be with us for 3 years. But he doesn't register as an "offical" player on our list of 25 because he's under 21. They can go unregistered
  3. They'd made a deal to sign him?! I thought he was one of ours?
  4. I believe you can write profiles and submit them to an admin to be posted in their page.
  5. So he won't be available for West Brom? Oh well, not the end of the world.
  6. Speaking of Work Permits, West Ham's new signing Miralem Sulejmani has been denied a work permit because he didn't meet the Premier League quota for permits. Are we sure Ramires does?
  7. It's the same thing on the Newcastle site too, according to my mate. Their websites are designed by the same company, and so they use a database of players for squad lists and that's why you have all these players on their website with no stats.
  8. I don't understand this club sometimes. Why don't they ask fans opinion of prospective kits first? Adidas really screwed this one up (as usual.)
  9. Guys don't get ahead yourself.. Rule 1. Don't trust websites like Goal.com
  10. Hmm.. Not the most concrete of evidence to suggest he'll sign for us, but it's good news none the less. I really hope we beat of competition to sign him. Our very own Ronaldo.
  11. I'd prefer he went to a club in the Premier League. But he seemed to do well at Burnley, so let's give him a chance. I think this kid has a good future with England and with Chelsea, let's hope he shines so we can play him in our squad next season
  12. Let's hope Chelsea played this by the book. But encouraging signs
  13. Right. Who wants to bet he signs today? lol
  14. Agreed with Esk. It's actually the most frustrating thing that they favour Gerrard over Lampard, who's clearly the better player. I think McClaren even identified this, he tried to get the best out of Lampard but he screwed up the team as a whole anyway. Agree with Madmax too. Lampard's not the type to retire because of this. He, much like Beckham, will always make himself available for international selection, it's a shame he'll never have the honour of being England captain behind the beloved Stevie Me.
  15. I'm sure it was just a scout making his presence felt.
  16. Looking back on then, whoever thought our fortunes would change so sharply? It makes me so proud of how we, went from this small club over shadowed by Arsenal, Tottenham and even Fulham to, become one of the most feared clubs in Europe!
  17. It's very harsh to blame Kenyon for that. The fact is, every football club does what we did (even though we didn't.). United did the same thing with Macheda and yet UEFA feel they'll make an example out of Chelsea for it. There's no justice when it comes to Platini/Blatter making a ruling.
  18. Agreed with BlueLion there. We will need to spend on younger players to keep our team fresh, I won't complain if we make a big money bid for a promising player, it shows we're willing to take that risk on youth.
  19. To pick on a few of your points there.. ManUtd are always hungry for it when we win and vice-versa. The hunger never stops when you don't have it, but just because you have that doesn't mean you're going to win the title.Yes City have signed a few good players, but look at their pre-season. Worse than ours. They're not a proper team yet, right now they're a couple of superstars put together. It will take them a while to get any chemistry going and start winning a majority of games and by this time they'll be out the race.Liverpool one is the same story. Sign a few good players and suddenly they'll win it all, well the last 17/18years proves this theory wrong. I hope this clears your pessimism a bit. KTBFFH
  20. His hair is sick!! But that shouldn't put the club off, they don't know he's not going to adapt, that's a personal thing. I don't believe they've held any actual talks with him yet
  21. Yes.. Another player who can't keep it in his pants
  22. Disagree with you there. I think Kalou still has a lot more to give Chelsea. If you compare his movement now to before last season, he's much more attacking, even vs Manchester United he caused them a lot of trouble with his runs. He still needs to work on creating more chances to score, but his movement on the pitch is brilliant, he's improving! If he could finish better there would be no doubt about him starting for us. He's still 25, plenty of time to improve.
  23. Forget worthless cup, that's one worthy of a few, if not most, premier league starts!
  24. Haha clearly, the most important trait of being a goalkeeper!
