  1. Welcome to the best Chelsea forum on the net
  2. I'll admit, I'm a bit concerned about what Ancelotti's been saying regarding Cole. He says Chelsea won't sell, but he won't deny Ashley wants to leave. I sincerely hope C.A has a talk with him to reaffirm his commitment to Chelsea, we don't want a player who doesn't want to play his heart out for us (ref: William Gallas). If he really does want to leave and his performance reflects it, I think it would be wrong to deny him the move. We should want player who want to play their hearts out for Chelsea.
  3. Yes! Agreed, he's been very over hyped in recent years, even before his prolific move to Real!
  4. No-one will care, it's only the British (& French?) media that like to hate on their own players

  7. Well if you believe such rumours, apparently Capello plans to axe Terry
  8. Credit to the boy for finally speaking out about it. There's some good loyalty there, today's players could learn a thing or two from him (coughJoeColecough)
  9. Just to make it crystal clear guys.. Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has stamped on rumours that he has set his sights on Benfica left-back Fabio Coentrao as a replacement for Ashley Cole. Reports have suggested the Premier League champions would be willing to send England international Cole to Real Madrid and enlist Portugal counterpart Coentrao in his place. But Italian boss Ancelotti has dismissed that speculation out of hand, saying: "It's not true, totally rubbish." It is understood 29-year-old Cole has become unsettled at Stamford Bridge following recent revelations about his private life, but Ancelotti has repeatedly stressed he will not part ways with "the best left-back in the world". || SkySports ||
  10. Chelsea target Ramires has revealed that he sought advice from two former Arsenal players before deciding on a move to the Premier League. Ramires has explained that he spoke with Brazilian compatriots Gilberto Silva and Julio Baptista, who both played for Arsenal, regarding making the transfer to England. The 23-year-old said in The Sun: "Gilberto, Julio Baptista and others gave me confidence by insisting I must accept this chance. "In the end the Chelsea proposition was impossible to reject - not just because of the money but the chance to spend every day at one of the best clubs in the world. "As a boy in Brazil I watched the Premier League and I remember how Chelsea and Manchester United played such attractive football. "This summer has been a dream - the Portuguese title with Benfica, the call of Brazil, the World Cup and now the jump into the Premier League." || SkySports ||

  12. Haha just searched Ramires in megastore.. No results, yet
  13. Thank god! Now let's hope Capello leaves out Terry, Cole & Lampard.
  14. Yep, he's quite a genius. He's also very fluent in Latin. He's actually in Mensa, a society for people with very high IQ's, it's an elite group and our very own Franky Lampard is part of it.
  15. All I can say about Kaká is HA! Ha at him and Ha at Mr Perez. His first season was plagued with injury, & it seems to be the same case with this season. I believe this is karma for spending ridiculous amounts on players. He should've stayed at AC Milan.
  16. Yeah! And did you see the way they made a big deal about Manchester United's 7-1 win over that Irish team that, again, nobody knows about. I doubt they were even trying, BBC never used to care about pre-season games but when United win it's almost front page news.
  17. I just hope we don't sell him. Bertrand has a lot of potential to be a future England star, if we can keep hold of him we can show people we're still not this team, which everyone thinks has no youth system.
  18. Do we think they bought him? Perhaps get £1million off them
  19. Didn't they do something similar last season too? It is quite ridiculous. I'm willing to bet half the players won't even bother, hopefully Capello does the right thing and doesn't play all the senior players for more than 45minutes.
  20. Do you really feel he's got no future in the Chelsea team Esk? Carlo did seem to want to play him in pre-season.
  21. Already been posted on the forum, but it won't happen. Zhirkov had a good debut season, did his roles filling in for Ashley very well. There's no indication we're looking to sell, he's a great asset and player to us.
  22. Could he be on a flight to Cobham?
