Premier League champions Chelsea are reportedly close to completing a £25million deal for Neymar, with his agent insisting the Brazil striker does not want to stay in South America. Santos president Luis Alvaro Ribeiro has hit out at Chelsea's conduct in their pursuit of his club's star forward and has reportedly rejected the West London's opening bid of £20m for the 18-year-old. However, the youngster has set his sights on a move to Europe after being courted by the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City, as well as Real Madrid, AC Milan, Juventus and Barcelona. Chelsea seem confident that Neymar, who recently marked his Brazil debut with a goal in a 2-0 win over the USA, will sign for the Stamford Bridge club and join compatriot Ramires, who signed from Benfica last week. Guys, Benzema is a world class striker! Please don't forget that. Yes, Real Madrid has halted his progression, but to deny the boy's talent is pretty harsh (of course, not worth £35million!). He would be a fantastic signing, he's young, quick & powerful. If Drogba took him under his wing, he'd be an exceptional talent.

Overall, a quiet half (bar the two goals). The goals themselves are 60% Chelsea skill 40% West Brom error, but they're playing good possession football & look very solid on the ball. They're probably shaking off the cobwebs and getting back in the groove. Ferriera does need to either step up or go off. He's being beaten constantly and when he goes forward he's not doing much. Ashley Cole & Frank Lampard have been the 2 shining stars of that half. Cole's been booming forward finding lots of space! Lampard's been proving great passes and hit a very powerful free kick.
