Chelsea should really pursue in buying this kid, such exceptional talent for an 18 year old, he would fit perfectly into our squad. Luiz doesn't look half bad either. A good central defender, good sense of awareness and gets in some great blocks.

Not too long ago, seeing those two names side-by-side was the most fearful sight for any team facing them. Ricardo was a big factor in our first ever Premier League title. Exactly. We need better scouts if anything, we need to take a page out of United's book, have scouts across the globe and find boys like Hernandez and take a risk buying such players. It's the only way forward!

I think it's very early to get so cynical about this deal. The deal with Benfica has been agreed and if we're just waiting on a work permit then that's fine.
