I rather have this learning experiences in a season we don’t compete than later on as well. Also there clearly is progress. Conor, Mudryk and Palmer are making strides in their development. But one thing is worrying. We still don’t make any progress in terms of maturity in front of either goal. Palmer was gifted a 2nd and could just have taken one more touch. Madueke and Nj looked completely useless. We can’t develop as a group as long as not everyone gives it their. 

I think the fact that we're upset at not winning this match is a good sign.
Should have been 3 wins out of 3, which is top 4 form IMO,  so we're not far off from where we want to be, even though the league table doesn't show it yet.
The league cup match against Blackburn can't come at a better time.
Time to progress in the cup competition and restart the winning streak.

What a frustrating game to watch
 
We had all the ball-possesion in the world but still couldn't convert any of those chances
 
The problem is not Pochettino I actually feel sorry for him 
 
The new owners is the main problem
 
- Buying young players non-stop like we were ajax
 
- spending that huge sum of money on caicedo, when we could have use that money more carefully
 
- We look so thin upfront and the bench dont even get me started I dont know whether to cry or laugh.
 
- Boy do I miss roman abrahamhovic like a baby misses he's mama's titty American owners are the worst !!! They always believe they the smartest people in the room
 
- fired the whole medical team, now we are left with injuries from left to right
 
- there's so many mistakes that they've made like really where do we go from here its only september feels like i'm watching Titanic sinking ship boyy are we drowning fast

Wish I was that optimistic. We have no world class senior players for those kids to learn from, I think that aspect is undervalued when it comes to development. If you constantly underperform in games you should be winning your confidence will drop, you won't enjoy playing anymore and you will be stuck in a rut, you lose belief in the project and so on.. no progress comes from that. We need to start winning soon or we're gonna have a bunch of wantaway players again by the end of the season.

Instead of betting on games, we should start betting on who's next to pick up a injury within the Chelsea squad who got next ? 

I'm for one very sad to see Odoi go. When he burst onto the scene I genuinely believdd we had our own CRonaldo7... 
That injury was a career changer man.

Not a Cole palmer expert, have only seen small samples of his games
 
But from what I've seen I'm impressed a huge plus also is he can play on the left wing dont always need to cut in from the right side with his strong foot.
 
I approve think this is a smart deal from the club I see many upsides. And as of right now I pick him ahead of mudryk he's better I believe.

Lampard and tuchel tried to tinker a little bit with that to t'ill tuchel played him as a striker and his overall play improved even so tuchel in the press compared him to van persie and berbatov if i'm not mistaken.
 
But after Tuchel left seemed like he dropped his head and potter it just got worse in the end watching havertz play it became hard to stomach
 
That's way It was such a disappointment that David dastro fofana didn't see more gametime second half of the season

I disagree. You are comparing current/recent form vs "ever form." One of them one day in a blue delivered really good performances esp in a season which got him the #10 jersey. Then he was decent as a sub in the CL win contributing in the single elimination games in a different season. Yes, then he turned into shit likely helped by his frail body.
The other 2 have done jack shit for Chelsea tho -- they play at a level way way below what should be our standards. I'd say that right Mudryk is slightly better than Madueke, but I have more hope that Madueke turns out to be employable eventually. Needs to bulk up and improve.
