Now Liverpool get him and we all act like we can't do business. You lot are mad. 
We got Estevao and Quenda who are the most talented players in the world at their age bracket. We got Caicedo the most coveted midfielder. Lavia who was wanted by major clubs. 
We literally beat out clubs that have massive names to do all this. You don't get every player - especially ones you think are overvalued which is potentially what happened here. It also seems like the coming over next season was a sticking point for both clubs so we may be looking at different options. 

You are right. Aside R James, he is another player we have that gives top class performance for us immediately after returning from long term injuries. What a player.

We don’t need every talented player locked up. We need squad players who will accept reduced roles too and carry them out

Aside poor finishing people just want him gone because he got red carded in 2 matches. One against Newcastle while the other against Flamingo. I remember a season where our Captain R/James got red carded in an important match. People came here saying Chelsea should sell him 😂😂😂. Some are making a case because Jackson didn't take part in the final. It is a long season and no matter our opinions Maresca is a fan of Jackson. The only reason Maresca would let Jackson go is only if he Jackson decides not to stay. When injuries and fatigue come I guess some fans will suggest we buy new strikers 😂

We need three strikers. Just like last season, we are going to need to rotate heavily on European nights. Unlike last year however the squad team is sometimes going to have to be on duty for the Premier League game not the European one. One striker resting on the bench, one playing, and one as backup. Unless Enso thinks that Guiu is ready to handle significant minutes in important fixtures then he can't be the third man. In any case, third man is not what his career plan should call for now.

I think having both would be beneficial I think I would only sell the Jackson if a really good offer came along.

Who do we even have aside J Pedro that is a clear upgrade on Jackson in the striker position? None. Delap games at CWC is similar or even worse to Jackson. They are all still young and need competition to improve and excel. We have a big upcoming season where there will Champions League, league, cup games as well but people are glamoring for Jackson to be sold. To what gains? I prefer him being used even as the 3rd ranked striker. Competition is good between Jackson, Delap, Pedro. Injuries and fatigue will also come. Some are saying Rodrygo as if he is not on the same high wages the club management frowns about. 

Santos was class. He seems very agile and keep things ticking with good passes like Lavia.

Why not sell the whole squad and buy a new set of players for the season. Most fans will never be patient enough with our young players in the squad. Funny enough they are still clamouring for the club to sign similar set of players elsewhere. It is more of a back and forth thing 😂. I thought we did go for young, more consistent and experienced like R Leao, Rodrygo etc.

Is Andre Santos playing from next season? How about other players like Esuggo who were supposed to be given considerable game time to prove themselves. Maresca is more of a clown than the Chelsea board

That is my fault. I have been struggling to keep up with several things outside of the game threads. For the past month I went from a very treatable form of skin cancer to surgery to remove it all to plastic surgery to repair what was removed then to treatment to heal. I am on the mend. If one really good thing came about it, was Vesper agreeing to take over the players section. She is far more qualified to give the players section the type of attention and detail than I have attempted to do. My apologies for not keeping up. 

Reading that Cherki is some wizard we missed out on and how other clubs do better business.

If we sure up LW, add a CB and get a better keeper - we have a great team that will continue to grow. We have the best midfield depth in the world IMO.
If we add Rogers or Gittens, and a highly rated CB - this would be one of our best windows in years. And I say that after we've had the likes of Palmer and Caicedo come in windows. 

It baffles me more. The meltdown here is devastating. Most also think anyone out there is always an automatic upgrade on our existing squad players.
