The PL keeps on winning and ruling the world haha. Manc clubs failing hard against a weak PSV side and an out of form and seriously weakened Juve and I love it. City's goal shouldn't even have stood. PSV should've dealt better with their opportunities to create chances on the break. But congrats to them. Simeone finally switching things up. Can't use the same game plan year after year. I'm confident the manager and the team can turn things around. I can't imagine finishing outside the top 4 this season. But winning the title was priority #1 this season and I think that's gone now. Winning the FA Cup would be nice and could soothe the pain of failure a bit. Winning the CL isn't impossible but I don't see that happening tbh. You'd think the PL season would now offer plenty of opportunities to play the likes of RLC, Musonda etc. but I'm sure now is not the right time because of the terrible start. Last season wasn't the right time either because there was a title to be won. It's never the right time.

Oh Ivanovic, you of all people. Do the players (and the manager) tell these lies for the fans? As a way to make us feel better? But that would mean we're blind and stupid. Dominating matches, unfortunate, (imaginary) chances missed, mistakes being punished, fake results... If not for some fine goalkeeping, the club would be in even worse shape. 'We're playing awful football and we are devastated about it. We'll do everything it takes to improve and start winning again'. Maybe add an apology in there. Is that so hard? Having your worst player at the moment address the media isn't very smart either btw.

My problem with Drogba was always his inconsistency. He was a devastating force when he was at his absolute best but he could also look so ordinary, to the point he became frustrating. His touch would let him down and he'd also get into fights. Very streaky player but that's forgotten when nostalgia and legend status kicks in. Another example of big moments defining your career. Munich erased Moscow. Diego is not as good Didier when you compare the two in peak form imo. Drogba being the more all-round player, with his dominant physical and aerial presence and link-up play. He could put up a one-man army show, causing havoc with little support up front. And the man was a big game/high pressure game/situation player. Costa relies on his team mates a lot more but has a much easier time finding the back of the net. That's why his form isn't surprising at all, for me anyway. The performances of the team will affect him the most and the team is playing horrible football. I don't care for the constant bickering and fights but what are you going to do... And it would be nice if he scored in Europe this year.

Ozil, Sanchez, Cazorla. Then there's Walcott's speed and movement and Ramsey's running. Oh dear. Actually fearing Arsenal. I think we'll witness the most negative performance in football in recent history. He has no choice.

He can't possibly do a worse job than Ivanovic and he has the bonus of possessing recovery speed and great stamina. I'd say play a youth player but that's pointless.

Yeah, I've been saying that since the beginning of the year. Matic's level seriously dropped after an excellent 2014. The whole team is just a mess right now. Disjointed.
