  1. Wait, did they just sing the US national anthem, only? LOL
  2. Oh my fucking god. I hate you guys. I actually thought the game was on already.
  3. The FA is an utter disgrace. They shouldn't be considering whether to punish Terry. If anything, they should be issuing a prompt apology for prematurely robbing him of his England armband. It'll be the most outrageous thing if they end up charging him, but I won't be surprised since they are always looking to please the majority as they made it clear when they initially deliberately brought this issue much more attention than it deserved. Sluts.
  4. What a joke. It wasn't even worthy of a court case to begin with. It was just the media making a big fuss about something so trivial, something that could have been settled between the individuals, and Anton Ferdinand going along with it and whining about it because he's a douche. The worst part is, if Terry proves innocent, Ferdinand probably won't receive much criticism for being such a childish bastard because this whole shenanigan was basically set up by people who wish everything bad would happen to Terry so they can laugh at him. And of course, if he proves guilty, the media will abuse him even worse and for a very long time.
  5. They HAD to use that picture with Malouda groping Henderson.
  6. They planned to travel to Africa AND Asia this year? Sounds like a dreadful idea to me.
  7. 17's my favourite number. I was going to buy a Mata jersey, but I'm going to have to reconsider now.
  8. Number 21, eh? He's got a big shoe to fill, that's for sure.
  9. I hate him, and Leif made some good points about him as well, but I wish we sign him just so we can rub it in their faces. Haha!
  10. Holy, I was so scared for him the moment I saw 'Meningitis'. I hope he fully recovers soon.
  11. I'm thinking this will turn out to be a terrible move on AVB's behalf. When he left Chelsea, he was considered a total joke by football fans and the media, and he obviously struggled with all the attention he was getting. He should have spent a few seasons somewhere else, building on his reputation and skills as a manager, let the English media forget about him, and then come back. It's only been half a year since he's left us, and nothing should have changed since.
  12. It's probably too early to say this, but Torres seems to have gotten his striker instinct back. His movement is sharper, and he no longer hesitates in one-on-one situations and seems to know exactly where to put the ball. Hopefully, he can continue his form.
  13. Good luck, Salomon. Thanks for everything.
  14. Nah. Can I actually have it changed, though? I wasn't joking or anything, I swear. Thanks.
  15. Why are we losing our shit over Malouda's crap performance for France?
  16. I just realized how appalling my username is. Can I change it to "Naked Mole Rat", please? Thank you.
  17. Rangers. I can't say I like Rangers since they're part of that silly little feud, and being a secularist, people fighting over religion is something I can't stand. But the Celtic fans, from my experience, are one of the least likable bunches in football (along with Liverpool, QPR and Benfica fans).
  18. If it's going to be a Chelsea player, it has to be Cech, and he really does deserve a shout, but unfortunately, he's a goalkeeper. My guess is Messi.
  19. 24m would be a great offer for Torres, but I don't like the timing of it. We've already made quite a few changes for next season and will probably continue to make more changes in other areas of the team, and I don't feel we should make too many changes over such a short period of time. Besides, Torres hasn't looked this sharp in the past one and a half seasons he's been with us. Even though he seems totally out of sync with the rest of the team (Spain), you can tell he's a much better player than he was with us when he was complaining about our midfield. He's making better runs, and he strikes the ball with more confidence now. In a way that's assuring, but at the same time, I'm afraid he'll quickly fall out of favour with del Bosque because obviously he's not the kind of man suited to tiki taka (Pass him the fucking ball please already, no one likes to see Iniesta and Xavi fiddling with balls between themselves all day long). That's too bad because I felt how Torres did in Euro would be decisive in whether he'd do well for us next season. Hopefully, he won't be affected too much.
  20. Not many. I only missed 12 games in the Champions League and a little over 80% of our league games and cup matches. Incredible dedication, I know.
  21. You mean one of our players is responsible for fucking Spurs up big time? How flattering!
