Racism is a thing of the past, you know. I'd even say random personal attacks are pretty unfashionable as well. Regardless, I don't believe that people should be banned for any sort of comment, however offensive it is. I haven't seen the incident, but unless the comments made could have put the forum itself in trouble, I don't think the bans were reasonable. BUT, at the same time, I don't run this forum. Jim does. I'm sure he wants this place to thrive, and if he deems that such comments are detrimental to the forum's success, I respect that. If you have any concern about this issue, by all means voice your opinion, but a highly aggressive comment like that rarely does you any good. EDIT: He's gone? Derp.

Thanks a lot for the help. Do you need my e-mail, though, or did you just mean PM?

I live in the wrong time zone and miss all the fun. #firstworldproblems I'm guessing it was pretty serious, though, seeing the police being mentioned and all.

You're sounding like TX. What happened? Anyways, can you help me with some Math? I'm in some serious trouble now in Chemistry because the nabla operator will be on the midterm apparently, and I didn't do any vector calculus in high school. I kind of get the gist of what it is, but the math part just completely blew over my head.

European Capitals Scoring You scored 24/45 = 53%. This beats or equals 18.8% of test takers. The average score is 31. LOL I didn't even get Rome.

Goddammit, Leif.

Good on him!

Scoring You scored 134/196 = 68%. This beats or equals 72.2% of test takers. The average score is 99. I have close to no background in Geography. In fact, I've made it a rule that I keep away from Social Science and Humanities (with the exception of foreign language courses that only teach conversational techniques and do not go into anything related to literature), and the last Social Science course I took was Socials 11 in high school, which was mandatory. Unless I fail English this term, I'll be kissing Literature goodbye this December as well.

I don't know what to make of that photo with the KKK guy and the black surgeons. It's so ironic it's almost funny.

Oh, right.

Damn, you're only making me want to see it more.
-
Recreational, eh? What fun things can you do with your family and friends in a large tub all naked?
-
I'll go with Cahill and Mikel.

Sorry to hear that. It really must be tough for you, but I hope you get through it soon.

Hey, you're mean... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Hyun-a Oh, so it's a global thing. Humans like to get together with a lot of strangers, take off all their clothes and get wet, hot and sweaty.

Technically, yes, but it's too cool of a word to be so restricted in its use. It should mean something like "pleasantly surprising" and should be popularized. I can totally imagine people in the near future saying things like, "I am planning a vajazzling birthday party for my mom today," or something like that.

Elevators are fucking disgusting. I remember the one in my apartment building when I lived there often smelled like piss. I'm guessing it was either little kids or some drunk people who did that, but anyways, it's never a good idea to lie down in an elevator. As for the humping part, I've never seen anything quite like that. Truly vajazzling. And what about the yellow suit? I thought everyone had one of those?

@capriccioso, HI CAP! Here's the translation I promised: Except I'm obviously not going to do the whole thing. You have Google Translate for that. I'll just give you just a gist of what's going on. First of all, 오빠 [Oppa] is a word girls use to address either their older brothers or other men who are slightly older than them. Also, girls will often use this word to flirt with guys, so if a Korean girl calls you this, it's could be an indication that she's ready to go down on you. 강남 [Gangnam] is a region in Seoul (south to the river that runs through the city) where all the filthy rich people live. It's sort of like Beverly Hills in California if that helps. Small apartment rooms cost around $1.5m there. By contrast, in the west side of Vancouver, which is probably one of the most expensive cities in North America, you can get a decent house with maybe a backyard and a garage for the same price or even less. A lot of the things in the video are typical of rich old people in Korea. Some obvious ones include the sunglasses, clothing, and the gelled up hair, etc. One of the things in the video you probably won't get is the part where the fat guys with tattoos are sitting together in a room naked. This is something I don't quite understand, but for some reason, a lot of Korean people like to go to public bathrooms, I mean literally, publicbathrooms so they can wash and scrub themselves while being surrounded by hundreds of dicks all hanging out. The worst, or perhaps the best part, is that sometimes, moms take their sons (if they're under 4-ish) to these things. To the women's room, of course. Anyway, these public bathing places also have rooms like the one in the video where people just sit and sweat because the temperature is up over 40 degrees if I'm not wrong. Again, something that doesn't make any sense to me. Some people actually die in these things. Another thing I should probably explain is the part filmed in a tour bus. What you see in the video is the reality of the infamous Asian tourism. A lot of the times, passengers get drunk on the bus and sing and dance to loud music. You are so wrong if you think Asians go on tours just to take pictures Anyways, let's do a little more translations. A couple words you hear a lot are 여자 ['yea' as in 'yearn' followed by jah] - meaning a female or a woman - and 사나이 [sah nah ee] - meaning a guy. I'm not going to go over all of the things in the verses, but basically, all of the expressions used are great for flirting. Each line ending with 여자 is a compliment any girl will appreciate and each line ending with 사나이 shows how cool a guy you are. One more thing. At around 2:10 in the video (I think that'd be the bridge), you know, where the blonde (LOL) girl does some pole dancing, they lyric goes like Ah rum da woe sa rang su ro woe, right? That basically means the first bit 아름다워 [Ah rum dah woe] means beautiful and 사랑스러워 [sah rahng su ruh woe] means adorable. So, there you have it. A perfect, guaranteed solution for getting a Korean girl, if that's what you fancy. Oh, and lastly, one little clarification: unfortunately, you'll never witness pole dancing on public transit in Korea, but you can in Vancouver. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHHy9PgH1Jc

Chelsea Name The Biggest Playing Personnel For PL Campaign
Naked Mole Rat replied to Leif's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Bruma's on the list as well. Van Homoet Bruma, Jeffrey Kevin. -
Fuck this. I was late to all my classes because the campus is disgustingly huge and I'm hopeless with directions. I'm definitely bringing a compass with me tomorrow.
-
What's that? It's near 9 a.m. on a Wednesday morning, and I've yet to wash!? I'm already loving this.

I'd actually say that Meireles had a good start to his Chelsea career and got worse as the season progressed. Anyway, he was one of the first players I wanted to see gone this summer, but nonetheless, it was a shocking decision to let him go this late without any proper replacement. I guess what led the club to do that was that Meireles, a mediocre 29-year-old midfielder, had 4 years left on his contract, but still. Will we miss him? I hope not. It all depends on how our remaining players do. I don't think Meireles had a whole lot to offer, but he still gave us a decent option in the midfield, and judging by his performance against Newcastle, I think he deserved a chance to prove that he could solve our midfield problems.

Are you kidding? Of course I am. They promised they'd help me discover my inner goddess.
