  1. Most undeserved result since our game against Wigan and the QPR away game.
  2. Are they incapable of carrying him out of the field?
  3. I'll be following Roma closely. Before they got Luis Enrique I was almost certain Roma would be Guardiola's next club. They do appear to to be consistent with the football approach of the managers they're targeting.
  4. Yet that very "Manchester" part of their name is what IMO will keep them from reaching the status (and the myriad benefits that stem from it) of the biggest Manchester club. It's really as simple as not dreading of any kind of long term European domination from the likes of Atletico Madrid or Espanyol, as disrespectful as this might sound. On a sidenote I'm genuinely disturbed by witnessing myself agree with Justin and argue with Terminator X on this matter.
  5. Not quite sure about Mou's long term abilities but I had in mind someone as legendary as Michels, Cruyff and Fergie.
  6. I guess that article makes a fair, yet lacking (transfer fees are useless without contract details), assessment of what little we know of Emenalo's work but it misses broader picture with its introductory point. The most important thing to understand about Emenalo's role is that he does not hold a position in the Football Board. While this may be a great situation in contrast to Arnesen's role and the fact that the Technical Director does not overlap the manager, having different person assembling the squad and different assessing it is hardly normal.
  7. potential* There is no such thing in football. Not without having a personality that will have a huge impact on world football. And that's certainly not going to happen with Manchester's 2nd biggest club. Get real.
  8. I'd take him for <20k p/w. Might even have fun reading how he and our other "creative midfielder" Jossi were meant to be the saviors of our season.
  9. Thank God (...) that such arguments are thrown out of the window along with the said deities when you're not religious.
  10. Usual thing. Wonder what Emenalo (and his team) have to do to get credit. Apart from the now tiring wiki story and some media articles from over 3 years ago there is no connection between Piet De Vissier and the club. I'm baffled by how often he's mentioned. I bet if this transfer was done under Arnesen the official site would be full of pictures of him smiling alongside Marin.
  11. While I'd hate the Scousers winning yet another cup due to our fuck up and losing another CL final would make me quite bitter I believe that historic value and reputation aside it would be an unexpectedly good season for the club since we would have both earned a record amount from CL revenue and qualified for next season's CL. Apart from that nothing will take the memory of the Barcelona game away from us.
  12. He might actually not be the disaster we thought he was. World Class sharpness and confidence today, even if it was against a Championship team.
  13. Confidence can do wonders. This is the most direct I've seen us play since our last 6 goal wins.
  14. Good job Malouda. We might win this.
  15. I swear I made the same sound Gary Neville did
  16. Any links? Can't find the match on Wizwig.
  17. As I said I do feel sad for the people that require such an "enhancement". Not much unlike those who are plagued by ignorance and are unable to achieve the fairly basic intellectual processes a human is capable of, depending on substances to achieve the same goal is similar. Sleeping is in fact a completely different state of consciousness, it simply is not the state of complete awareness through which humans perceive the world. DMT being produced during sleeping would excuse/rationalize its intake as much as messing with one's blood pressure and heart rate to reach REM levels would. The intake of anything that has an immediate effect on the functioning of your neurotransmitters is by definition chemically messing with your (state of) consciousness.
  18. ^Afaik that depends on your level of zoom.
  19. In the same way the video (which I'm watching right now) is a sad reflection on the world. When people (who appear to be no strangers to the intellectual processes that define our species) need to chemically alter their cognitive state to gain insight on existential issues you know we fucked up so bad there's hardly any coming back.
  20. That's just wrong on too many levels. Sad really.
