  1. Klopp and Pep do the same and nothing happens.
  2. Blame the FA for the fixture congestion. No reason the EPL can't take a winter break, which would be the logical thing from a player health and fitness aspect.
  3. We are likely feeling that midweek game. Liverpool have fresher players with Ox and Sturridge. We have kept them relatively quiet, but would prefer Azpi to go to LWB and mark Salah, or have Rudiger in Cahill's place. That added pace would help prevent them exploiting that side of our defence.
  4. Sevilla were unfortunate not to score in the first half, just luck didn't go their way. Totally different team in the 2nd half.
  5. No, I'm not a fan of buying a young player like this when we already have talented youth players, including Dujon Sterling and Hudson-Odoi who play similar positions. We also have Musonda too. No more throwing money at these young players who have a few good games.
  6. He's working for Inter now, so not him. I do wonder whether Antonio will have a say in who comes in.
  7. Why would she? She's recently overseen the Nike deal with the club and is the head negotiator. I don't think she's done anything wrong at the moment. The reason we are not paying 100m for players is because Roman isn't spending like he used to, not because of Marina's negotiating.
  8. But he isn't a scout, so does he identify talent? We don't know what exactly he does. Maybe he has last say on talent coming? Plenty of clubs were looking at Hazard along with us, but because we won the CL he chose us (apparently) so not really anything special by Emenalo in that situation.
  9. We don't really know anything about the situation or his job entirely, so to speculate he is the problem is a bit far fetched.
  10. Would he really have left in Jan, especially with Napoli playing so well? Which other wing backs are out there?
  11. Should have won the league last season then with their superior squad. This is the same Spurs who looked toothless vs Utd last weekend? I think the lack of pressure (which cannot be overstated enough) to win anything is a huge advantage for them over us, City and Utd, heck even add Arsenal to that somewhat. The coach knows he can bring in young players or not win the league and it not be a problem, but for us if we fail 2 seasons in a row to not win the league, the manager gets the boot most likely. They have some quality players, but I think they also get overrated a lot too.
  12. Honestly, I would rather put Azpilicueta at LWB and bring Christensen into central defence. Not ideal, but his lack of pace and his defending of late has been poor.
  13. Vitesse doesn't see the best feeder club tbh. City made a good decision to base their feeder club in Spain.
  14. Liverpool defence (including the keeper) are terrible.
  15. If he can score at least 10 goals that would be a very successful season for him. He's well on course to do that and maybe more. Hope he does it.
  16. I think it's the fact that side isn't filled with elite players/world class players all over the pitch that it fools people into a false sense of security. Pep has them players working well and has improved players like Delph, Stones, Walker even. He knows their strengths and weaknesses and used them to the best of their ability. Delph being used where he was yesterday wasn't due to lack of options on City's part as they could have used one other, but it was deliberate from Pep because he knows Delph's strengths and trusts him to follow the tactics - the same with Walker. However, one positive to take away is even though they could have scored, our defending was top notch for the most part and City only scored through a well placed shot outside the box from KDB, so the positve is we can take away is the defence didn't crumble under any pressure from City despite being under some during the game.
  17. He just came back from injury and is our best creative/attacking player, so Conte doesn't want to push him too hard.
  18. Different players. Bakayoko isn't as good as Ruben going forward, but he is better at the defensive side, and vice versa.
  19. You win some and lose some. Yeah it's great to win big games, but sometimes it doesn't happen. I do believe the excuse of feeling some fatigue from the Atletico game. Two massive games against very tough opposition is hard enough for any team. Yes that's what you get when you're in the CL, but we've had one of the toughest starts to the season over most. Still 31 games to go and plenty twists and turns over the course of a season for an unnecessary overreaction.
  20. Overrated? He was severely underrated when he came here. He's also won us games this season and last with his goals, so that's nonsense.
  21. Christensen, Zouma, Ampadu, Rudiger, the future is bright for our cb choices.
  22. Real Madrid will be ruing that missed opportunity to keep him at the club, especially seeing how much they need a striker like him. What a weird decision by Real not to put him in the first team ahead of Benzema. Let us hope that means Kane will be a Real Madrid player next summer lol.
  23. What is his car doing in the car pack still? He's been gone for months and would have thought his car would be parked at or near his house in London or wherever. Sounds like BS
  24. Stop listening to the media. If you didn't realise the media talk out of their asses by now, you never will. Sunday Supplement are some of the worst.
  25. Doesn't mean much. Just means Juve can get more money for him if he leaves.
