  1. It's disappointing to hear from him tbh. He had Musonda and Boga, so what is the complaint here? Pedro is injured, Hazard is injured, so nothing you can do about injuries. What does he mean about other players? Morata isn't a winger, so it was simple enough to play with one or two striker instead of as winger.
  2. People seem to forget Moses has only played one season at RWB, he's not even a defender. Other right backs/wing backs have played that role for years, so people are unnecessarily judgmental on Moses. I think Tomori would be a great RWB if given the chance, mainly because he's always played as a defender and has a defender's mindset. He also played RB earlier in his youth career.
  3. It's still a shame we don't have faith in our youth instead we buy talent who are the same age. I am positive we must have similar talent, but they're just not getting chances and it's frustrating.
  4. To be fair, we loan enough players for them to improve in other leagues, so maybe it's time we do something similar with a young player. Kind of ironic though lol.
  5. Didn't we offer £60m? lol. The media is so poor this summer.
  6. Well I can't personally comment on Sandro's ability, but many people who watch him fairly regularly tell me he is the 2nd or 3rd best LB in Europe right now. If that is the case then that puts him well ahead in terms of ability over Walker and Mendy. I don't know enough about Mendy either, but from the few games I've seen of him, both for Monaco and France, he looks very good going forward, but defensively leaves a lot to be desired, similar to Walker. However, we have no idea if we'll even get Sandro tbh, so who knows what will happen. I do think Alonso has been severely underrated considering he has pretty damn solid for us overall.
  7. Isn't he a true Barcelona boy though? I find it hard to believe he would even consider leaving.
  8. Kyle Walker would have been a decent player for us, but not sure he's better than Moses.
  9. Yeah, he isn't going to score nowhere near what people think he will. For that money you're expecting 50 goals a season in my eyes, so Messi numbers - both in assists and goals.
  10. We aren't spending £90-100 million on Bale, I'm pretty confident of that. Morata is a record fee for us, so I doubt we would go for Bale. I actually think Pedro is better suited for us than Bale too. Bale is a injury prone, lazy player. Yes he is world class when on form, but his "on form" is so sporadic it's not worth our time imo.
  11. Just came to see if my prediction was correct. Yes, yes it was, overreactions galore. I wonder if Bayern fans went insane because AC Milan beat them 4-0 (?) hmm
  12. Christensen is overhyped, but VVD isn't? Makes sense.
  13. Doesn't matter how he does, he along with Mendy are not the only talented wing backs out there. People act like these players are the be all and end all.
  14. Watch the the meltdown IF we lose lol it won't be pre-season anymore, it will be comments of "WE NEED REINFORCEMENTS ASAP!" "UTTER SHAMBLES" "NOT READY FOR THE PREMIER LEAGUE AT ALL" "PLAYERS NOT GOOD ENOUGH!"
  15. I don't particularly see the hype in Mendy. I thought he was good a few months back watching him in CL, but since then playing for France and a couple of other games for Monaco, he seems decent going forward but defensively he lacks. It feels like City are snatching up the players from a team that beat them in the CL and nothing well thought out about these transfers; just throw a lot of money at them and hope they come good in the PL.
  16. City had a shit side out. Utd had an almost full strength one out lol, Jose couldn't lose face against a rival even in pre-season. I saw Lukaku goal, but wtf was the keeper doing?
  17. City will probably play him at LB, as that's a position he can play.
  18. I hope either he or Belotti happens, but I'm not going to get excited yet.
  19. No thanks. I would rather not give money to City, and Aguero is not in his prime any more.
  20. Throw enough shit and it will stick is the media's thinking here. Having said that, this signing if it happens would be a bit odd considering he was never linked to us at the start of the window. It does feel like scraping the barrel, even if it is a very good coup.
  21. Nearly £120 million. The only club who have spent more are Utd.
  22. How much money City got to spend? Surely they have a limit lol
  23. Maybe Lukaku had chosen to go to Utd beforehand (he was already in LA for their pre-season) and Chelsea knew this.
  24. Was he? Again, we are only going by what we are told by reporters who have since shown themselves up to be unreliable. All I remember is when there was talk of Costa leaving, Lukaku got thrown out there as someone we were interested in because he was potentially going to leave Everton.
