  1. To be fair he'll be alright at least as 3rd choice. If we can negotiate his wage payments down to £100k-ish he wouldn't be a bad loan at all.
  2. Who knows what's going on behind the scenes. If we offload any of our AMs then Salah will likely get playtime. Even if we don't he can still back up LW - which is currently poorly covered.
  3. Juve are seriously struggling without wingers.
  4. 3 loanees are allowed at each club outside of the current division
  5. I hope we see more 4-4-2 next season.
  6. He ain't going nowhere unless we buy/bring back an RB and play Iva at CB and find a new LB...yeah. I highly doubt it.

  8. it was 1/13 worth of his chelsea career, the City debacle...As they say, it's not worth cutting off one's nose to spite one's face.
  9. Frank Lampard: "I'll always keep my season ticket at Chelsea and if they ever want me back in any capacity..." I can't believe some here are letting this minor blip tarnish his whole career here....
  10. I believe this is what they call sinking or swimming. While I fully believe in the kid I can't help but think that Baker should be here in his place.
  11. Bamford, Pasalic, Traore (WP permitting), Baker have the most chance imo. Dons' manager said Baker was the hardest working player he had coached - Mourinho likes that in a player, almost more than talent itself. Traore imo would already be about if he was given a permit, Pasalic at age 20 has been an ever present in a mid table team in La Liga. Think Lamps at West Ham (although not too much; not making any presumptions lol), and had been entrusted as a DM for much of that, wich is not his natural position and is unusual for such a junior player to be first choice there. For me he can make it. and we need a new 3rd striker - for me Bamford is the man. Playing as many minutes as Drogba did this season at age 21 or whatever he is at CFC would be an achievement and he should not shun his chance to become part of the team now before we find somebody more willing to do so to replace him. One other in the future is Kalas, especially if one of the back four gains an injury that's long term.
  12. Ever present for Elche this season. Proven he can survive in the first team. A good loan would be ideal, to a team with Europa/ChampsLge football and the season after I think he should come back. Alternatively take him back now - he's a b2b player, he appears to fit the profile of what Mourinho wants. He has a good chance. Being an ever present in a first division mid table team at 19-20 is a fantastic achievement. Well done to the lad. In fact, he was largely playing as a holding midfielder, and obviously not doing a bad job of it.
  13. Recovering in 4 weeks from a hammy injury means he did not do it or he would be out far longer than that. By the sound of it the club are strengthening his muscles anyway. No worries.
  14. Reus > Griezmann. We need creativity, not direct play, as much if a good player as Antoine is.
  15. Very true. Baker still has a shout of a first team recall if he gets a good loan and uses it effectively.
  16. That would make sense - somebody told me the Samsung deal ends May 31.
  17. Courtois / Cech Azpi / Ivanovic Cahill / Zouma Terry / Ivanovic Bertrand / Azpi Matic / Schweinsteiger Fabregas / Schweini / RLC Reus / Willian Willian / Oscar Hazard / Reus Costa / Remy / Bamford One can dream...
  18. If we're betting on Colkett (and that's not a bad punt at all) Schweinsteiger would be a good temp option - his only weakness is that his pace is deteriorating. Koke doesn't want to leave and with Cesc here in his prime it just doesn't make sense imo.
