Yep we did.I don't see the excitement surrounding this lad. He's a past it, man united reject whom we're not interested in. Drogba got 26 games thus season. If Bamford's not happy with that at a top club at the age of 20 or whatever he is then he'll have to have a few years' patience out on loan while we wait for him to be ready to start 30 or 40 matches a season. And that includes factoring in the risk that we buy a replacement who is more willing to play such a role.

Over the two legs, Verratti should have been second yellowed about 6 times, Luiz should have been yellowed for simulation, Ramires could have given away a pen (however soft it would have been) Zlatan should not have walked, and we should have won the game considering we only conceded in set pieces and were up against 10 men.In fact, had the referee been strict it could easily have been 9 a side.

I do wonder if he would get so much stick had he kept up the performances of pre Jan 17th to the end of the season. This year he has a full pre season.
