Poor pen from Tammy. Gutted for him. But good performance overall and if anyone had any doubts, this will have dispelled them.
This is a refreshing team able to pierce any defense!

Unfortunate but biggest thing is we showed a reaction after the Man Utd battering. Actually was really impressed by Zouma tonight. Won everything in the air and looked a lot better. Don't have criticism for any player tonight. Thought Kante and Kovacic in particular was outstanding. Need a win against Leicester. 

What a game to lose by one penalty... Tammy our main striker first choice and he couldn't score a penalty... Lol well done Kepa credit where it's due. Weird we can almost beat a better team.

The criticism for Tammy is truly unjustified. He puts that chance away people's opinion would completely shift. Did well to lead the line and his pressing was superb. 

if you have been here a while you know I had pushed other options (I was never pushing Kepa due to the fact he had turned down Real before, twice)
we bid £90m for Oblak, and he personally said no, he was my number one want (and I think it is a tossup between him, Ederson, and Alisson for top GK in the world)
we did overpay for Kepa, by £20m or so, BUT that was all on the board, as they should have sold Courtois in the summer of 2017, as it was obvious he was not going to renew. We lost over £40m there, as Real would have paid at least £70m for him then
the board lost a net £60m (20m overpay for Kepa and 40m lost on the forced Courtois sale) and or so (even more if the keeper we would have purchased in 2017 would have cost less than the £50m valuation I am using for Kepa)
we could have purchased Alisson in 2017 for peanuts compared to what the Bindippers paid for him in 2018

Alex Meret (removing Kepa, he was, after Oblak and Strakosha, my number 3 option), Pau López, Jasper Cillessen,, Alphonse Areola, Mattia Perin, and André Onana as options too, with Alban Lafont as a backup/future option (he was only 19 with years of Serie A starting already)

Spot on from Frank. Glad to also see this same sentiment from almost all journalists and pundits. This was a super harsh score line that really flattered United.

We paid £70+ Million for this trash and lost our Cech to Arsenal. He was our Number 1 keeper. Cortouis took over from Cech who wasn't great and we replaced him with this overrated kid.
