  1. I am FOR promoting Lewis Baker, selling Mikel.
  2. Don't use any hair loss prevention drugs--especially DON'T USE PROPECIA.
  3. Torres leaving Chelsea would be such a HUGE BOOST for CFC. Get it done however you can CFC.
  4. Is it possible (legal) in European football to loan a player and pay for a portion of his wages during that loan? Doesn't seem like this guy is going anywhere, but I'm curious whether Chelsea have considered loaning him last summer or this, or letting him transfer for free while paying off some of his contract (salary).
  5. wow. there are a number of promising young players at Chelsea. makes me so anxious to see them reach for the top level and succeed.
  6. Good news! Happy to have him in the club and competing for a spot in CM! Welcome to the forum, IceMan
  7. I'm also excited by Boga, Ake, Brown. Do you know whether Chelsea will post this complete match on their site for video-on-demand? Or, should I watch live Chelsea TV online for a replay?
  8. 5 million sounds about right. He's a nothing-player with stature and good feet on high wages. offload him any way possible, just like we wish for Torres (but it's impossible for Torres).
  9. Anyone gotten an update on the 14.5 million Juve apparently will owe Chelsea over Adrian Mutu? http://www.lawinsport.com/blog/john-shea/item/initial-considerations-from-the-latest-adrian-mutu-compensation-ruling
  10. Did you watch him play more than a couple matches last season? I've watched a lot of football from around Europe and I don't think there's a better centre back right now. He has everything. He's right up there with Godin, Kompany, Ramos, etc.
  11. If this is true, he could be a backup to MvG knowing he could have further knee problems. Good player IMO.
  12. don't care if he goes; I never rated him highly unless one were to play him as RW. Steven Naismith looked smarter at CF than Lukaku at times last season --although Naismith doesn't have the size to hold up the ball in front of the CBs. Maybe Big Rom will finally learn how to play as a good CF one day, but I really don't care. Ship him to Wolfsburg and get Ricardo Rodriguez if possible... or, whatever the plan is; doesn't matter. I'm only worried that Liverpool end up with Ricardo Rodriguez.
  13. I would take the 2004/05 squad with a peak Drogba... but that was never seen. that squad was, as someone said above, balanced. something CFC have lacked for a long time. Also, I'll add that I don't think Chelsea have had a player as good as Arjen Robben yet. Hopefully some of our current young players become as good.
  14. How do you lot know that Mourinho actually wanted M. vanGinkel? Did I miss an interview or statement somewhere? because I was under the impression that vanGinkel was a player the scouts had been watching for a while and CFC decided to sign him.
  15. I wish there were good news about JOMikel leaving Chelsea Football Club. I don't understand why this crap player got a five-year deal.
  16. good choice of player: tottenham for Brahimi http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tottenham-eye-transfer-yacine-brahimi-3820847
  17. sell Lukaku, buy Rodriguez. git'r dun.
  18. if rumours are true, I very much like this "take it or leave it" approach by the Chelsea. so, stick with it and if AM don't compromise, take Ricardo, posthaste.
  19. I wouldn't worry about any of this right now. A new PL season with a good, attacking LB, RB, better CMs, and a real striker will define what Hazard is made of; not this Belgian side with a manager who lines Fellaini up in CM versus Argentina. I'm inclined to believe that Eden might not be as infatuated with the game of football in general as some of his peers, but being surrounded by some better talent and depth in this new Chelsea squad that's being built, might help him and everyone involved.

  21. Luis is 29 in 5 weeks from now.
  22. bid 19.5 -22 million right now. Makes no sense spending the same amount on Flipper Luis who is close to 30 years old and certainly not an athletic specimen by any means.
  23. Let's get this guy. I don't see any negatives. forget all the other names out there.
  24. The World Cup is not a good example of Michael Bradley because Klinsmann used the wrong tactics by making Bradley a middle outlet/transition player. He should have never been used like that; he's incapable of doing it. Klinsmann screwed up in the World Cup by letting the wide players remain pinned back instead of keeping a line of THREE center midfielders hover in front of the defense (4-3-3). Would have suited M. Bradley and the USA much better and I don't understand why there was NO CHANGE over 4 matches until Bradley moved back in extra time yesterday. Management failure. Pointless because we were not going to defend and turnover the ball all the way to the semi-finals and we're not developing anything by playing that way.
