I don't doubt he would be a very good squad player to have and certainly would have started over Diego if he was here this season but when both are on form I know I would take Costa every single time.He refused to stay and fight for a place under Mourinho anyway so I'm not really sure why anyone would be frustrated tbh.

You need to watch more games than stats mate. Lukaku missed at least 2 clear chances in the first half and now his team is at the risk of losing this game. They would be comfortable now had he converted those chances.Edit: Stones is amazing though, I wish he was here.

I dont watch a lot of Everton games but he missed a lot of chances vs Norwich and his general movement is awful. He progressed in a sense that he uses his big body more efficientely but I have serious doubts about him being the main striker here.

That was an odd game from Cesc tbh. He was good defensively but failed most of his passes. Usually it's the other way round.

I'm sorry but he is nowhere near the player you think he is. He overperformed during the first half of last season and benefited from the penalties Fekir offered to him to boost his stats. Not to mention he was only playing on one front(league) and only had to play once every week. He is already being found out this season and will only look worse if he moves to a better league. he can't play the lone striker role and he is only at his best when his team is playing on the counter, he can't play with his back to the goal and his finishing except for the 1/2 of last season was dreadful. Michy is superior in every aspect of his game and is begining to prove it playing for an awful OM side in ligue 1 and europa league.

Oh I think he would. He has all the qualities to make it here or elsewhere. combination of technique,pace,strength,and he's comfortable with both feet. What I like about him most though, is his ability to play with his back to the goal something which he will have to do on regular basis if he played here. He only signed for Marseille last season, and he was for the most part behind Gignac in the pecking order. Nevertheless, he had an impressive goal/minutes played ratio as an impact sub. Now that Gignac is gone to Mexico he's starting every game for his club and is currently the leading goalscorer in the league. That would explain why he was overlooked for his NT until very recentely.

If we're looking to buy a striker from ligue 1 it should be Michy Batshuayi. He's the real deal. Lacazette is just a one season wonder.

I thought people would change their minds about Oscar after the disasterous couple of games we had without him but I guess it's just impossible for him to please our fans. I think the issue is that people are comparing him to creative n10s the likes of Silva,Ozil,James.. He's not that type of player and probably never will be. He leads the pressing in the team and maintains defensive stability. He retains possession, plays small combinations with the other attacking players and helps our star player shine(Hazard). He has a fair amount of goals/assists a season for someone who isnt the focal point of his team. It's no surprise we had players like Eden and Fabregas underperforming while he was not playing. He's a modern day n10.

Chelsea FC signing Djilobodji is a joke tbh, no disrespect to the player but he's midtable team quality at best. 18 yo Zouma pisses all over this guy and was absolutely better than him back when he was at Saint-Etienne. He draws fouls like no end and his technique on the ball is awful so don't expect much from him. He's tall and strong and that's it. Maybe he could prove to be useful in a physical league and a fitting system but I'd rather give Zouma more playing time. It's a shame we missed on Abdenour.

So stupid from Everton... They are trying to look better than really are, that they are not a club with no ambition. The truth is they just finished in the second half of table, they need critical signings in many areas and have yet to pay for the lukaku money. You simply cannot afford to decline a record fee for one of your players. And that is what makes them a club with no ambition.

Which midfielder exactly?Stones is overpriced but he's quality and signing a ball playing CB is crucial to the right developement of the team.

I dont follow all of those players but I watched plenty of Umtiti, Stones and Marquinhos. I think Umtiti is just as good as Stones except for his ball playing ability where the latter has the edge. Marquinhos however is head and shoulders above them. Very comfortable with the ball and rock solid defensively. It's criminal that a player like luiz starts ahead of him. But you can add him to the unrealistic targets list as they will never let him go.

He's a John and wears a 26 blue shirt. Some things are just inevitable. Jokes aside, this transfer is looking very complicated. But on the bright side we're probably the only team that is willing to pay so much for him right now. City already spent big on Mangala and United is not really short of homegrown players, they are regularly linked to experienced players like Hummels or Ottamendi.

Love Stones. Truly one of the most promising young english players who for once deserve all the hype around him. He's also everything we want in a center back. He's fast, he anticipates and reads the game well, proactive but most importantly extemely comfortable with the ball at his feet. I know the asking price is relatively high but he's a very complete young english defender with his best yet to come. We will be overpaying now but possibly secure the signing of a world class defender for the next ten years. If we pass on him now, there are very little chances that we find an english CB as good as him. Zouma is an interesting player but I dont feel confidence and maturity in his game yet as do I with Varane or Stones and he's very limited with the ball mostly just getting rid of it when he has it. I'm hoping the board will make this happen

Pedro would easily start in our team IMO. He would contribute far more offensively than everyone bar Eden, and he would certainly be the most decisive attacking mid in the final third.I would happily have him here. His situation at barca is difficult because he has monsters as teamates ahead of him.

It looks similar to the Real's kit posted a few pages back, with a different color obviously. Also it seems that as long as Lolichon is here at the club we will continue to have flashy colours in the GK kit.

Surely you mean a Center Back.I can't see Jose dropping any of Ivanovic/Azpi. Someone will replace Filipe eventually if he asked to leave but the coach is most definitely satisfied with the current set of FBs whereas he doesn't have the same kind of faith in Cahill. There are currently no real critical position where we need strengthening unlike last summer, but a top ball playing CB would be the closest thing to it. I think the club is waiting for a good opportunity similar to Benatia with Bayern.
