Is there any ball playing CB available left on the market now? At this point, we should just recall Christensen. There's no way we're getting top 4 with the current set of CBs we have at the club.

Allow me to share some of my knowledge/personal view. As far as I know OL is not really looking to sell the player, as they'll be playing in the UCL next season and still want to compete for trophies domestically. So unless they get a big offer it's unlikely that they sell him. Remember Michy was sold for 40m so imagine what OL will be trying to get for the ligue1 player of the year 2015 and their best scorer for a couple seasons now. Deschamps did not pick him because he failed to impress when he was called unlike Gignac. Giroud plays at Arsenal(big club) so he gets his spot instantly. Personally I don't rate lacazette very highly. I think he lacks a lot of qualities to be a top player. His runs are very sharp and he has an insane pace but his finishing is not too good, he misses a lot. He cant play back to goal and depends vastly on the service he gets. He tends to almost dissapear when his team is suffering. Although he improved a little in this aspect this season and started to try to get more involved in the buildup or at recovering the ball so props to him there. He is not really a hothead or anything like that but not a saint either. Does not get along with some of his teamates and he complains a lot when he doesnt get a good service but nothing that makes him unmanageable if thats what you had in mind.

Either Michy/Costa paired with Lukaku would be a bad combo. Both of them are poachers with little creativity. We need the other striker to offer more than just goals in his game which is why Morata made a lot of sense. This potential deal not so much..

I like Morata a lot but it looks like RM are not going to give up on him unless they receive a big fee. If we're looking for a second striker so much we should look at Jese imo. I think he's even more talented than Morata, I remember during the first season of Ancelotti at Real, both Jese and Morata were given chances and Jese was clearly the better of the two. He's clearly being wasted at RM behind BBC. Rumours are they're going to loan him now that they have Morata back. Perhaps regular playing time and good coaching could take him to a whole new level.

I think it's probably why we're still looking to sign Morata. It will be interesting to see Conte's plan with the strikers and wether he decides to keep Traore or not.

Lacazette faster, more explosive Michy stronger, better finisher and at hold-up play. None of them are much involved in the build up. The belgian is definitely more suited to the PL than frenchman.

He will not look as good as with Leicester thats for sure. He played in a system that made him shine with a low block and minimal risk. He is still a good player but I would not expect him to replicate his Leicester's form here should he join us.

We have the worst defense in the league.

Not sure if its been said here yet but according to France Football, his agent Jorge Mendes offered him to PSG. If Diego is indeed thinking about leaving, I think selling him to PSG and using him to land Cavani would be the best option for us. I'm sure Costa would rather return to Atleti but it's not always up to the players to choose their destination.

Willian and Kenedy should be playing on opposite sides so they can shoot with their fav foot. Many chances where it should've been one of them rather than the other.

Are we linked with him? I don't know if he would save our season but he would compete with Costa and add more goals when we need them. I love what I've seen from Ighalo tbh I'd take him if it was up to me. We could really use a striker. Costa has been hot and cold this season so far and in the few couple of games where he was good he didn't always score. The sad thing is that he has no real competiton. Falcao's best days are behind him and he is constantly injured. Remy is decent but he's very limited and he doesn't offer half what Diego can even at his worst. There aren't many realistic targets in january but if the rumours about our interest in Berahino are true, I think he would be very interesting. Technical, can play back to goal, good finisher, young, english etc..

Ighalo what a player.

His successful loan at WBA was the reason Mou wanted him in the first place same as with KDB. In a big team and especially with a new coach competition is necessary. If after 3 PL games other players like say Azpi or Cahill felt overlooked and frustrated and asked to leave they would never had their chance either.

Lukaku started preseason games because Torres arrived late that summer. The spaniard was never really tested during preseason. The game at united was already enough proof he didnt believe in torres. Lukaku was ahead of Ba in the pecking order and he was introduced in the euro supercup which was his last game at the club.

Our strikers were Torres,Lukaku,Ba. You think trying to buy a good striker to have a shot at winning the league was a bad idea?Anyway, the way I see it. He never stayed so we dont know how things would have happened. All strikers had their chance at one moment or another during that season and the coach was not satisfied with any of his choices. He could have had his chance possibly but we will never know.
