Personally I think he's their best midfielder and one of the best in the league. His injuries and Wenger playing him out of position didn't allow him to be very consistent but the ability is there. Good at passing and combination play, he can actually defend and most importantly makes runs in the box to score goals. Feel free to disagree.

If I had to pick 1 Arsenal player and bring him to Chelsea, Ramsey would be my choice.

Games like Qarabag away are exactly why we need a better bench. We could keep the likes of Hazard at home and only fly a decent team which would still be able to get a win. I remember Zidane did a similar thing last season where he rested Ronaldo as he didn't even make the trip. He explained that the flight alone would make him very tired even if he didn't actually play in the game.

We will most likely finish second. At home, the main aim should be to beat Roma and draw to Atleti. Away, a loss to Atleti is not to be excluded but we need to at least get a point at Roma.
-
I'm his biggest fan but he clearly needs time to adapt. Today was not the easiest game for him to do that. Give him time.

Midfield 3 but still allowing Tottenham to find players between the lines and it will soon cost us.
-
It's still 3-4-3. Azpi will play as RWB and Moses will play as a winger.
-
He seemed to be in a good mood in the last press conference, and his words were really positive in his latest interview. Signings incoming?
-
He is not a bad player but I feel he doesn't offer much except for crosses. His height is also an issue. He would be a decent squad player and option to have but I don't think he will improve us very much.

Well, that's what happens when you try to buy players so late in the transfer window. Also, we should never have sold before getting a replacement first.
-
Aurier to United/Tottenham. Cancelo to Inter. The only other name we could still target at this point is Ricardo Pereira because I sure as hell hope it won't be Cedric Soares.
-
I think people are overreacting. He was always a good player and I remember most people were fine with selling him to United for the quoted price. The real problem was not securing a replacement after his departure and Chalobah's. Now after watching the game with west ham I can't help but think they gave him too much time on the ball. I remember teams pressing him a lot and causing him to lose the ball quite often. You can't allow a player with his passing ability so much time to pick up a pass. He's always the first player to play the ball forward from the defense. It's only a matter of time before teams start picking up on that and target him. His stamina will also prove to be an issue for them as the season goes. Right now he's looking very fresh.

So finally the fee is going to be 40m and not 50 as reported a while ago by the telegraph and other reports. It remains a good deal but I feel we could have gotten more since we're selling to a rival. I guess in the end they were the only ones willing to pay that much.

Lichtsteiner is close to Nice and Spinazzola is right footed, so maybe he is just a replacement for him.
-
Same thing. He will still need to defend a lot and his best qualities are wasted at RB. He can play in multiple positions because he is a smart player but he will never be great at them. Maybe I'm not aware of the club's intentions but I believe the aim here is to improve while Roberto playing at RB/RWB would be a downgrade on Moses IMO.
-
Sergi Roberto the midfielder is a good player. Technique, Dribbling, Link-up play. The RB Roberto however is not reliable. He was playing as a regular at RB but now that they signed Semedo he will be back to being a squad player. I'm not sure we can guarantee him a starting spot so he might have doubts about leaving.

Bayern have too many good midfielders and they just bought Tolisso. Renato needs to play and with all the options they have at their disposal it's quite unlikely so they prefer to sell. Honestly if you watched him that many times and you can't see the huge potential in him I can't help you. If he was an ordinary player top clubs would not be interested in him in the first place.
-
He is but I don't think it's relevant. Bakayoko is sponsored by Nike but he didn't get one. The plan was probably to use the advert on the first big signing the club make.
-
Money is too good to turn down, no matter the destination. I wouldn't mind a new midfielder who puts in numbers in attack. I hear Renato Sanches is available. Gem of a player, and would cost less than what we would reportedly get from Matic's sale. Unless the club is just looking to balance the books to avoid FFP sanctions.

I wanted him here I'm sure he will come good for us. but I hope fellow chelsea fans don't expect him to start the season the same way Diego had during his first season. He was very expensive but that's only because the market is ridiculously inflated. We are paying for a player with great potential not the finished product. He left Madrid to play regularly and improve. He hardly had the chance to play regularly for a team at top level. Probably the only time was his first season at Juve. I think his lack of playing time has considerably slowed his progression. Which is why you're gonna have to be patient with him if you don't want to be disapointed. He will need time to adapt to the country, to his teammates, to our philosophy and to the league. and then only he can focus on how to develop as a player. He could prove me wrong and score a double or a hat-trick on his debut but he could also fail to score a single goal for the first two months or so. The odds are the same. That said, I think he has all the tools to make it here or anywhere else. As long as he works hard, the sky's the limit.

I didn't know he spoke some english. I remember during some promo videos for adidas he couldn't say any words. This will massively contribute to his adaptation.
-
They couldn't have posted this on a better day, lol.
-
Surpassed Chelsea as in they made a bigger offer to Real Madrid? Man.. Di Marzio is so vague nowdays. I also struggle to see why would Danilo want to move there knowing they just bought a 50m Right Back.
-
Obviously we are exploring all our options before making a move. Interestingly enough, the first journalist who broke the news said Guardiola was fine with his sale. I think he will only be available if they get a replacement. Sanchez or someone else.
