Cech's helmet reacted to DYC. in 🇧🇪 Eden Hazard
Hazard passes up plenty of fine opportunities to shoot. He just doesn't like to shoot. And that's no surprise because he's not a good shooter at all. His shots lack power and his striking technique is poor. His strikes aren't clean at all. His placement is pretty good though but the lack of power ruins his shots.
Hazard will never be the great goal scorer some/many people want him to be. I don't understand why that's so hard to accept. You can't just tell a player to shoot more. That's not how it works. If so, the same would apply to every player.

Could we not just have kept the "Who Will be the next Chelsea manager" open? We'll need it again in 6-18 months

I just want Roman to stand by a man who has brought the club many happy times.
We can't be sacking a manager after just 2 or 3 months of poor results on the back of years of great results.
We win together, we lose together would be my message.

Cech's helmet reacted to Azul in 🇪🇸 Diego Costa
He's a good striker nothing more. I never saw him as a world class striker tbh. I was delighted when we signed Diego because he could win us a couple of games and the Torres nightmare was over.
Diego reminds me of Mario Gomez. He's a good striker but he is only good inside the box. Have you ever seen Diego score a longrange goal? Or have you seen him playing some beautiful passes to his teammates?
You can not compare Diego to the likes of Aguero, Benzema, Suarez, Ibra, Lewandowski etc. They are all on another level.

Typical Mourinho. Even fucking Young gets a chance ahead of Di Maria to prove himself.
But Mou cant for once try something and give chance to others. Traore, Moses, last season Ake, RLC are all just figures for Mou. No wonder our bench is so poor if Mou doesnt trust anyone to prove. Mou keep playing Ramires on RW, what the hell? And ok if we played better or at least get results. But no. And he still doesnt make a change.
In every damn club players make some sort of surprises and get ahead of regulars or have at least some concrete impact apart from first 11. Bellerin, Young, Ibe,...what Mou does? Player plays shit and he will still continue to play him because of ''consistency''. Fuck that. If Iva plays poor, drop him. If Willian plays poor drop him. If Cesc plays poor, drop him. If you dont have players to replace, buy them. Thats why the window is for. Stop saying we have good team and then keep playing fucking Ramires on wing...and in mid season if things wont go his way, he will blame refs, players, lack of rotation, lack of depth etc. Same old, same old.
If you keep Moses, Traore, Ake etc give them the fucking chance. We dont have world class team that cant be benched. If you intend to use them for 3 games per year, then get some seniors who dont need play time, but will do their job like Belletti for example did in past.

He annoys me before the game's even started with his position (halfway line) at kick-off.

Obviously one of the very best shot stoppers and box dominators in world football, but you have to cringe and pray any time he has to play with his feet.

Cech's helmet reacted to didierforever in 🇧🇷 Oscar
what potential? the potential thats been talked up about when he was 21? when he was 22? when he was 23? i dont see any improvement in him when he started playing with us 3 years ago. another poor excuse. if we so want to take out potential then lets play boga and musonda.
the point is he DID get injured. he got injured and did not get those minutes. just like the season before, where he fell off the wagon. the oscar that was injured and unable to play most of our games towards the end of the season had no problem playing the WC.
as for turan not being better.. thats just LOL talk. turan's close control, holding on to the ball is light years ahead of oscar. turan's passing and dribbling is also way better. oscar has better goal scoring, and pace than turan, thats it!!! please watch some of ATM's matches from the last season or the season where atm won the liga and were the finalists. he was just brilliant. something which can be said about oscar for like 5-10 matches per season. also, who is talking about getting rid of oscar. turan is a RW. oscar is a CAM. hazard-willian/oscar-willian/turan thats how we would line up. or we going to simply blindly keep hoping for oscar's supposed "potential" to come through one fine day and reject any player who threatens his position?

Mourinho on RLC...

Mourinho sure knows how to end a season on a somewhat sour note. Was it really necessary to criticise him in the public given the circumstances surrounding the game?
On one hand, you could argue he's giving him the tough love treatment in hope that he responds in the right way. On the other hand, you may argue that Mourinho is already finding excuses not to use young players next season.

What's his actual problem with Luis? He's been good in every game I've seen him play. Is it really a case of favouritism? Personal relationships?
I'm starting to believe it more and more

Cech's helmet got a reaction from stroey in 🇧🇷 Filipe Luís
We have players with a technique of a 10 year old like Remy, Ramires and Cuadrado coming off the bench for us, while the guy with probably the best technique in our squad after Eden and Cesc warming the bench. We can easily slot him in midfield due to his technique, but no. Jose prefers to play Zouma instead.

There are no more excuses. He has to play. Simply because he is one of the few technical players we have who is comfortalbe in possession, quick thinking and actually contributes to our attacking play in a very positive way

Been embarrassed in Europe yet again. Blanc outclassed him in both legs.
Time to start rethinking his cowardly tactics because it clearly isn't good enough and we don't have Drogba/Lampard to win us games this time around. The calling was on the cards after our performances in the big games this season yet apparently we're spoiled for voicing our concerns.

Cech's helmet reacted to dee25 in 🇧🇪 Eden Hazard
Wow. I think this is the most off the mark assessment of Hazard I've ever come across, with all due respect. It's almost as if you've never watched him before. That isn't meant as an insult, it's just shocking that a Chelsea fan can say with straight face "Hazard lacks the natural instincts of an attacking midfielder." I can list examples after examples after examples of how wrong this is, hell take the goal we scored against City last weekend. You say that Hazard lacks the ability to asses situations before he gets on the ball but he was actually the one that instructed Ivanovic and pointed to the spot he wanted the ball delivered. Iva didn't switch play to Hazard by his own accord, it was Hazard that facilitated it. When that ball came from Iva, Eden played it first time because he had already seen the goal happen in his head before Iva had even crossed the freaking ball. That's the very definition of 'playmaking' and there are quite literally countless and countless of examples where Hazard has demonstrated this ability.
Hazard isn't perfect. There're areas of his game that he needs to refine but as an attacking midfielder, he's the complete package. He does it all. His decision making might still need some improvement, but saying that he has no "speed of thought" to play in the no. 10 position is conclusively wrong. On all accounts. I think I'm just going to stop here, log off and file this whole conversation under the heading of "bizarre things you read on TC".

Cech's helmet reacted to dee25 in 🇧🇪 Eden Hazard
I choked on my coffee after reading this. The question of whether Hazard should be played in the middle is dependant on a whole host of factors, but to say that he doesn't have the speed of thought and vision to play that role is quite frankly an inaccurate assessment of the player. Hazard's natural inclination is to create goals. He demonstrates this in every game.
