Ya it is what we thought. He just talking good because right now he is here. In the summer he will replace him. This is why I say we need to have coach continuity. He knows now better his team after once full season and will know what we need in the summer. If we get another coach then a lot of the dead wood will stay because the new coach will want to asses. It would be very cash positive for them from a financial fair play perspective, as they would instantly book a huge profit on Garnacho but take on (for this year) only the transfer fee divided by the years of Nkunku's contract, so maybe that might be like £60m in £10m out for the year for a £50m paper profit while being totally cash neutral in real terms (aside from Nkunku costing way more in wages surely). "squad building" isn't that difficult for him. Injuries are the real killer, No Rodri, Stones and Ake haven't even played 10 PL games this season. Just look at the drop off in quality we had when Fofana & James went down with injuries.

Wish we had been playing better lately. Just watched the recording of their PSG game, and boy they are totally beatable. Tired legs, disinterested players, letting a free man heading the ball in... it's all wrong. Pep may be a tactical, rather system, genius, but glad to see that squad building is still difficult even for him. I'm not sure about strategy; think I'd still start Neto and Noni for the pace and work rate, and then bring more creativity in as the game develops. Hard one becaus
