  2. I hope maresca go to man city and pep leave the club

  4. Suppose we will see. But if he has choice of going to United now or City at the end of the season if Pep were to leave (seems more logical given the BlueCo PR revelations about how they basically used information he was legally obliged to inform them of as a cross to nail him to when he walked as they felt “disrespected”) do you think he’d be so daft to go to United? Glasner looks like the top favourite at the moment.
  5. Chelsea fans are annoyed. Not even just that Enzo Maresca has departed the club and in fact, for…View the full article
  6. Yes he will do wonders in united. And united will work with him to build the team, with good defense as well.
  7. 🔴Enzo Maresca has close links with Man United's Wilcox and Berrada and is admired. (@alex_crook)
  8. 🔴🗯Real Madrid want to strengthen their midfield after struggling to control games in centra areas. Enzo Fernandez. Alexis Mac Allister. Vitinha and Adam Wharton are all on their radar. Real Madrid still have Rodr on their radar. but won't make a move until the summer when he enters the ast vear of his contract at Manchester Citv. (@Marca)
  9. James and Enzo afterwards saying we just continue regardless of who is 'in charge' Bit like when we had Avram 'he just puts the cones out' Grant - the players ratcheted up their performance
  10. That's the thing though, walking away from a nice compensation package does not make sense unless this is a preplanned move for him to walk into a cushty well paid job with a nice sign on bonus. I assume the compensation is as part of a mutual contract where he's locked in to not take another job without that team negotiation a fee with us. The fact he refused to do the deal suggests that he is either super angry and a moron financially, OR more likely imo based on what we've seen (appointing Mendes as his agent, negotiating with every club he can while employed with us, trying to use it as leverage for a pay rise etc) he is actually very savvy and very calculated (important traits in a manager surely). Guess we'll find out soon enough.
  11. Bit of a conspiracy that. There is a lot of nonsense from the BlueCo PR machine regarding Maresca to save face, wouldn’t take it all as gospel. Same with Poch. Same with Tuchel. I mean who do you think is putting that out to the media? If Maresca called out our mob & walked away from £14m compensation because he was that mad, do you think he’s gonna work under Wilcox & Vivell, who have effectively spat the dummy at Amorin after he said they need to do their jobs 😂? Strange as they were all behind him last season when they sat 15/16/17th in the table now he has them 6th, they sack him? After he says he expected to be Man Utd’s manager, not head coach & told them they need to do their jobs? Lot of fragile egos at both clubs, anyone with sense will avoid them.
  12. Amorim sacked. Would not surprise me if they appoint Maresca and it turns out he engineered this 'sacking' to be able to join without any negotiation or fee club to club.
  13. Lets be honest, young English managers aren't given opportunities like the Chelsea job very often so regardless of if its Wayne Rooney (ok he worked with him) or whoever, there is gonna be a positive write up. Look at all the positive PR re Potter when he got the job here. Great coach, tactically good & whatever else mumbo jumbo they could add.
  14. 🗯Wayne Rooney, who had Liam Rosenior as his assistant at Derby, said: "Liam was so important for me. He was incredible in his coaching ability. I was more of the manager and dealing with players and everything, "His detail, how he approaches the day-to-day, he's as good as I've worked with." "So I learned a lot from him from that point of view and then I think he's done a great job as a whole. "He's also got a side which you don't want to cross him as well. "That's important as well. If he goes [to Chelsea], he won't disappoint. He's been waiting for an opportunity like this."
  15. Delighted with the result/performance yesterday. I had little hope before the game and the bookies thought we had little chance too. First half, we rode our luck. They were all over us and Haaland hit the post. Second half we improved. Neto missed a sitter and thought we wasn't going to get another chance until Enzo scored. I thought Enzo scoffed it. Only realised it went in until he started celebrating. Palmer, is still frustrating me a bit. He got on the ball more second half but isn't influencing the game enough. He seemed to be outmuscled or lost the ball everytime he took on one of their players. I want to see him back to the player we know. He just wasn't that effective, albeit he was better in the second half than first half. I was surprised we did not add on another attacker as we went for the goal second half. I still thought we were playing it too safe and if the same situation arises again, we really needed to get another winger on the pitch to stretch the opposition. Also said in first page of this thread that City having less rest is only glimmer of hope I had and you can see towards latter stages, City looked knackered and I think the extra rest may have helped us, but balances out considering we had Sanchez, Cucu and Caicedo unavailable. Let me not forget Fofana, Colwill and Lavia all unavailable too. Santos was brilliant when he came on. Won the ball back a few times and mad excellent progressive runs with the ball which broke their press. Delap was really good too imo. He really held the ball up well and brought a different dynamic to the game. Liverpool drawing made that even a more important result. I don't see Liverpool getting anything at Arsenal, so if we beat Fulham, we should be above Liverpool by end of the week, my prediction tells me. Fulham also missing 2/3 key players at AFCON.
  16. Wrong forum. Please post that here: https://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/4510-give-us-feedbackbugs-thread/page/163/#comments
  17. I was wrong predicting the score... Well done Callum Well done lads
  18. Would’ve probably not gotten anything with Maresca. Gusto would’ve been playing as an inverted full back in the 94th minute. Still not enough, 1 win in 8 & another yes man coming in. Going to be a very intense & disappointing end to the season if we don’t start winning games fast.
  19. This site has become increasingly difficult to navigate around. Chelsea chat shed end is in contrast so simple. Give this site a rest untill it improves.
  20. Getting 1:1 draw away against City when everyone expected us to concede 5 or 6 and all this without all best defensive players in the squad? Truly remarkable! I'd say our best defensive setup is: Sanchez, James, Fofana, Colwill, Cucurella, Caicedo and Lavia. Non of them started except James out of position. Our defense is not that bad?
  21. McFarlane looks like he could have a future as head coach somewhere.maybe strasbourg.motivation was on the players but got the tactics almost spot on.
  22. This is a big year for the players with a World Cup looming. I’d bet they all fall in line and put their best foot forward. Then it might not be pretty
  23. Maybe he does surprise us. We all want Chelsea to win but I just can’t see th dressing room looking at this geezer and find him inspiring.. he’s done nothing in the game to warrant the respect of a Luis Enrique or Tommy Tuchel. It’s all well good buying all these young talents to boost their sale price but without a top coach developing them, you won’t even maximise the potential re-sale value. This shit doesn’t make any sense.
  24. You know it doesn’t matter if it’s McFarlane or whoever in charge…sticking one in at stoppage time is still awesome. Get the F in!!!
