  1. Past hour
  2. Guess Man U aren't in a crisis anymore..and instead are above us. Boo
  3. Today
  4. Wasn't Fofana on the bench for the game? Sort of surprised that he didn't get subbed on for the last 10-15
  5. If JP is injured, why is he playing every game? No point having a player out there just to make up the numbers. The problem with the whole squad is the lack of experience to get them across the line in tight games. If Tosin, Chalobah and Sanchez are your 'experienced' guys who are supposed to keep the Under-23 boys in check, we are in alot of trouble. I get the business model and investing in youth but you need 2-3 quality players of that 28-31 age group to help the youngsters out. Its not like Estevao and co will pop-up with brilliance every single game, thats where a fit Palmer is so sorely missed.
  6. It is crazy to think that our "oldest" players are Tosin, Cucurella and Sanchez and in all honesty, only one of them should be a guaranteed starter 😆 Imagine if we had the experience of Kovacic/Jorginho/Kante/Cesc in the midfield to help these young guys or even the likes of Cahill/Luiz/Rudiger at the back
  7. It is tricky because without Caicedo, the team is so much worse. Especially with Lavia and Essugo not around. Doesn’t have the luxury of resting Caicedo at the moment. re: the attackers. JP is injured and Liam is out. They were considered upgrades. The wingers we all thought were dodgy
  8. Obviously another ex Man City player…. Good potential but enough of the Joe Shields recommendations. Would steer clear of any u23 attackers/midfielders/defender in the next window. Go get a top GK, CB & attacker who is 24-28 and isn’t going to need 2 seasons to come good for fuck sake. Not hard. Or we will be this up and down team again and again. Bit of proven quality would go a long way…
  9. He has previous running players into the ground, as seen with Cole last season. He really shouldn’t be so stupid to take the chance with Caicedo in particular given how key he is, or the other 2 given how one is already notorious for being injury prone. Or is this his way of showing the board he has no use for Essugo & Santos? Ok Essugo is injured as of now also but again if Maresca is trying to prove a point he really is rolling the dice with Caicedo who we absolutely cannot take any chances with. Without him & Palmer we have no top players at all. The attacking players - who some seemed to think were massive upgrades and would fire us to a title challenge LMAO - also cannot be relied on, clearly. Going to keep saying it, experience in key positions is absolutely necessary, top GK, top CB and a top wide player/centre forward in that first 11 today and we probably win. By 2 or 3.
  10. If Maresca restores the Tosin Chalobah CB partnership over Acheampong, then he really is an idiot and deserves the treatment he's been getting from our sporting directors.
  11. Yep horrendous player. Squad player at best. And even then, you’d rather Chalobah, Badiashile, Fofana ahead of him in pecking order for a squad place. Never seen a CB that tall who is afraid of attacking the ball or physically engaging his opposite number. Absolutely wank.
  12. Yesterday
  13. I honestly think he is on level with Sarr and Disasi. But some of the older ones you mentioned... Yeah certainly worse. Michael Hector lmao
  14. multiple worse ones Disaster for instance Malang Sarr for sure plus Tomas Kalas Michael Hector Jake Clarke-Salter Kenneth Omeruo Matt Miazga Dynel Simeu Xavier Mbuyamba
  15. Thats just excuses for having a sub-par attack whenever Palmer is out of the side. Our front line is so bad in terms of inconsistency. I don't see any of our attackers getting 10+ goals this season. Another team figuring out that we can't break down a half-decent parked bus and then Maresca not realising that Sunderland have picked up quite a few goals late in the game this season from counter-attacks and long balls over the top. Wolves and Spurs coming up.....both teams love a counter-attack, can't wait to see Tosin/Chalobah get rinsed again 😆
  16. Good thing is Delap is back soon. Should give some room for Joao Pedro to breathe, and we dont have to rely on Georgo or Guiu up front.
  17. he was pretty horrid today (and for some time) so was Neto and Guiu is simply miles off being an EPL CF I am so trying to keep the faith go Blues!
  18. 🤩Liverpool beaten by Brentford to equal worst-ever Premier League run https://www.espn.co.uk/football/report/_/gameId/740679
  19. Never forget the 3 subs in 20 minutes against United when Sanchez decided to foul Mbeumo. This time we didn't get a red card but his subs were horrible. We really are missing Palmer's magic as Pedro seems to have forgotten how to score since the CWC 😆
  20. Yep!! They were in 'crisis' guess not the case no more
  21. That was the wrong call but I don’t think Maresca has a longstanding pattern of making terrible substitutions. His subs changed the game vs Liverpool for instance
  22. That's why he replaced our best player in Acheampong for Tosin, the owners may be shit but this fucking clown is useless as well.
  23. Because there was nothing amazing beating this poor Liverpool team, they lost to fucking United at home, our fanbase is delusional at it's finest.
  24. ofc and some of you want to Chelsea join again the next club world cup lol what a desulional fanbase We need a summer break asap. ofc, next year we will have the world cup and some of the lads will not rest
  25. Maresca admitting Pedro, Caicedo, Enzo are all carrying injuries. The lack of a summer break has caught up with this squad on top of the obvious issues
  26. I’m very close to doing the same. I just love Chelsea too much to have stopped watching already. Nothing else to do on a weekend either .
  27. Glad I stopped giving a shit and hardly watch matches anymore. Heard it was another shit show. Wont invest any interest until the directors and Maresca are both gone.
