  1. Past hour
  2. The rest of it might turn out that way but Cucurella? I think he's staying
  3. Maybe but he doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. And he certainly doesn’t have the stomach for when the going gets tough, seen it here time and time again. But none of them do. It’s all well and good when you’ve got Messi, Di Maria & co to bail you out at international level but for someone wearing the armband, an apparent senior player within this group, he could do a bit more than just run his mouth to the referee… yes goal in the first leg in a period we were playing well but disappeared tonight. Vanished in the last 20-25 mins in Paris.
  4. Breaking News 🔵🗯✴️NEW UK govt set to sue for Chelsea £2.5bn: “We gave Roman Abramovich his last chance to do the right thing. Once again, he has failed to make the donation he committed to. We will now take further steps to ensure that the promise he made at the time of the Chelsea sale is kept” (RobHarris)
  5. Most of the top clubs have a footballing structure that doesn't give managers full control of transfers. Even great managers who can handle the coaching and on-field aspects can be bad judges of transfers - Conte 2017 was an example, Tuchel viewed Lukaku as a good fit after Haaland and Kane. I think the structure is fine but their strategy of buying expensive young players has cost us several years when the Premier League has had the best buying power in Europe.
  6. maresca was sacked rightly but hire LR was a huge huge mistake
  7. Rosenior on Chalobah injury : “We are hoping and praying it wasn't as bad as we first thought”
  8. With Maresca we would have done better against PSG.
  9. Rosenior on losing his voice: “Excuse me, I lost my voice shouting, not at the players after the game but during the game.” [@BobbyVincentFL] Rosenior on Enzo’s comments: “I haven't seen that. It's hard for me to speak on speculation after a game. I need to focus on the more important things and getting a result against Everton on Saturday.” [@BobbyVincentFL]
  10. Probably hiding in Asgard, I know I would be after saying we’d win 4-0 🤣
  11. Asked him about his triple substitution of Fernandez, Joao Pedro and Palmer. He says that he has to make difficult decisions that many might not like to protect players after over 100 games.
  12. Tonight most of our efforts on target were all from outside of the box though. Pot shots basically. Not any real guilt edge chances. Or maybe one or two but wouldn’t have changes the complexity of the game given how early we conceded the first 2 goals. The first leg yes we played much better but again, those PSG performances both legs weren’t anywhere near the high standards they set last year. Plus when you capitulate with 20 minutes to go in the way we did, it takes away any real positives from the game. Then tonight, defensively poor from the off. So passive without the ball. Big disconnect from back to front. Massive gaps. We got what we deserved over both legs, thoroughly pumped. By a team which I will say again, look nowhere near the incredibly high standards they set last year. If they played like they did last year & beat us 8-2 on aggregate, ok hands up, could’ve happen to anyone but this season…. They basically limped past Monaco the last round. Hes off. He won’t get a game at PSG if he is really considering going there though, doesn’t work hard enough. Rosenoir hooking him at 60th min also says it all.
  13. Can't blame him, wants to win things and be at a club fighting Don't rate him but cannot blame him
  14. 🗯BREAKING: Enzo Fernández spoke about his future at Chelsea: “I don’t know, there are 8 games left and the FA Cup. There’s the World Cup and then we’ll see”. (@moillorens on @ESPNArgentina via @urieliugt)
  15. Before KK came on in the first leg, the game was in the balance. He effectively won them the tie in a 30 min cameo while we have Mr Leaker coming on. There are levels. I can't see Arsenal going all the way. It feels like RM or Bayern will win it. If that tournament meant something to any team, it was PSG. All you need to do is look back at Enrique's reaction, glorified pre-season friendly or not. We gave PSG a decent game away from home (Joao Pedro scored but was offside and Palmer missed a sitter at 2-2). Tonight, we had 18 shots, 9 on target (four more than PSG). The difference is being clinical when the chances arise. Lets not forget Jorgensen played a massive part in the scoreline as well.
  16. Exactly!!! Its silly to think that the team from then would be the same tonight. The bar wasnt as high! This means so so much more! Mean also didnt help they didnt have much work to do as our mistakes did a lot for them but even so. How we laughed at Spurs result Tues then bammmmm look at us 😭
  17. Why we sacked Pochettino? He finished strong that season. One loss in the last 15 PL games. Also good run in both cups. Maresca qualified for CL, won two titles and beat 3:0 managers majority want here. Flick, Emery and Enrique. So some fans should be careful what they wish for...
  18. I think using that glorified pre season friendly result as a barometer of anything is just wrong. And probaoy something internally at the club/in the dressing room that was also mentioned. We were up against them after a short turn around from the end of season. Those 2 legs; they didn’t even get out of second gear by the looks of it. PSG still don’t look anywhere near their performance levels from last season which is frightening given the result.
  19. Chelsea have now lost four consecutive Champions League knockout games for the first time in the club's history. Woo
  20. Rosenior : “ I want to thank the fans because they saw how hard the lads worked.” (@footballontnt)
  21. Sacking Rosenior is 100% pointless as long as the people above him are still in place picking the next puppet. The only way anything changes at this club is if they leave or they completely change their stupid model. If they finally give up this fucking atrocious model they have where they only appoint novice managers who have no big club experience and only sign young kids then we may have a chance to save this football club. If we got a super experienced manager who has TOP LEVEL experience, let HIM make footballing decisions, and sign ready made, experienced players we can rescue ourselves. We continue this way and we’ll become perennially fighting for 5th, 6th, or 7th and playing UCL football once every few years.
  22. Last time I watched full football game not involving Chelsea was World Cup final in 2022.
