He has been in the premier league for a long time, it's not like he's an unproven quantity, his hold up play and vision has always been amazing and probably one of the best in the game, but he just won't score many goals and that's why he could never become a top team striker, he isn't the most clinical in front of goal, and we'll just have to accept that.

Can't blame him. He's not very good but Conte did the right thing by putting him in the starting-11; he deserved that.

Surely shut the whole “he’s a Arsenal reject” clan up too, in all fairness he’s maybe not played as regularly as he might have hoped but when he has played he has done well. His skill set is underrated particularly with the loss of Costa in the summer having a brute strength where he can hold it in.

It's just one game and it was against an abject Southampton. Sure, it's great what he did but it will take more than one game to say he's not an 'Arsenal reject'.

The thing was though that he apparently wasn’t good enough for them and wasn’t for us based on that but he’s always done well when he’s played. Okay the goals haven’t come come as many hoped but he’s always performed.

He wasn’t. Jason didn’t say this either but many members had slagged the signing of him at first but I think like I mentioned up there his skill set suit the team and performances have always been good in my eyes. I think as well he appreciates the chance to be here you can see the effort he puts in. Not that he perhaps didn’t at Arsenal but it’s easy to see why he became so disillusioned there with them signing Lacazette and regularly playing for only 10 minutes most weeks.

Yeah but it has been only a few games and this is when we have been shit, mind you. It's like Willian putting in the performances whenever we decide to be shit.
