I bet that screech Ronaldo let off was an inside joke from the Real dressing room, but out of context.. he sounded like a mad man. Messi's ego knows no bounds, gives no fucks about the dress code.

True though, he's dressing like a clown for these gala days. What's up his obsession with red/burgundy suits anyway?!

If David Luiz can make the FIFA team of the year as a CB after a shocking year where he was mostly utilized as a CM due to shite CB performances and a shocking World Cup then I reckon I can, despite having 0 professional appearances.....

Iniesta?? He was shit for Barca too, what did Modric have to do to get in that team.

They shouldn't release the votes. That's when you'd get proper unbiased results.

You got professional coaches and players voting for their club and international friends. What's the point? When there is a clear conflict of interest, you usually chose other options to make a decision.

Unbelievably stupid.

I personally think a WC winner should have won the award, but CR7 was just too good this year. Most of the FIFPro World XI was plausible, but Luiz and Iniesta being included was a joke!

Still think Lahm was the outright best performer last season. Quality league and cup campaign, versatile in the defensive midfielder role as if he's played there his entire life, and was absolutely consistent all year including club and international level.

Only three of Ronaldo's CL goals were actually decisive goals, 2 of them coming in the group stage.

THIS. also, i still cant believe modric was not in the 23 man shortlist. that was a joke. he was RM's player of the season if you actually look at performances and not just the stats.

My World Xi would have been

Neuer

Ramos - Miranda - Godin - Luis

Lahm

Koke - Di Maria

Messi - Costa - Ronaldo

and my Top 3 would have been

1.Messi

2.Ronaldo

3.Costa
