  1. Must be thrice, because he didn´t win the league in 11/12, 16/17 and 19/20 if I remember correctly. Still an amazing record.
  2. We have been arguably the better side in both league games (especially chances wise) and City have been pretty bad in all big games this season. Furthermore they will be knackered from yesterday. We can win this.
  3. To be fair it might be system-related. Even Rudiger and Thiago Silva struggled heavily under Lampard, before conceding only two goals in the CL knockout stage under Tuchel.
  4. He has been comfortably our best CB this season.
  5. The same has been said about Lukaku by many on this forum in 2021. I am quite content with Jackson as of now, especially with his general play which is far superior to Osimhens. I think we should give him time until summer, given we also have Nkunku.
  6. Lets be honest, he has been a very average signing so far. I hoped/ thought he would provide defensive cover, while also supporting Enzo and other more offensive players with actions of substance. So far, he clearly underachieved and I hope Lavia is a useful addition as I regard him quite highly given his good technique, which Caicedo and Gallagher lack.
  7. We are behind Real, Barca, Bayern, United, City, Pool, PSG in the european pecking order. To say otherwise is unrealistic in my view. There is a reason we settled for the likes of Werner and Ziyech in the last few years.
  8. Players of that calibre don´t want to join us.
  9. Gallagher and RCL shouldn´t start anytime soon.
  10. I hope we can, but deep down I feel we won´t recover from that.
  11. This one got on my nerves too, actually bothered me really with A. Cole years ago too. I will always fail to understand how so many (and in some cases even word-class) players are this one-footed, when even a half-decent weaker foot can add a new dimension to ones game. Bad coaching at youth level, I guess.
  12. Interesting take, as I thought Cucurella had a good game and is a clear upgrade on Chilwell, especially in general play. Why do you don´t rate Cucurella that highly as of now?
  13. I would rather go for a technical player. We need more technical astute players if we want to compete with the likes of City and Liverpool in the next few years.
  14. We should have really went for a midfielder. Waiting for Rice will come back to haunt us.
