ZanSnake 1,211 Posted May 14, 2011 Share Posted May 14, 2011 The last Italian manager we had was Viallia who became our mosr succesful manager ever, before Mourinho came in, and i firmly believe Carlo can overcome that if given the time. The double aint a bad start - but we need to be patient as he actually builds his team, instead of relying on the usual suspects who are on the wrong scale of their playign careers.Would ove to see Torres start, and hopefully score a goal or two, And would love to see some youth involved too - mainly from the start - but i can understand why not Carlo might nor be in the same state of mind. I do think it's vital that we get the 3 points tomorrow as next weeks game against Everton will be tough. I hate it when he has to go off because he doesn't offer the pedigree in attack, so Drogba comes on in his place.As for Carlo! As I have said many times this season, and I still say it now, I am backing Carlo!! I do no want another manager change!! I mean, he won us the double last year, and we're planning to sack him because we endured a couple months of crisis, and didn't win any trophy. That's stupidly harsh. Just think of Arsene Wenger. Provided some great memories down the years but it's time to move on. Really excited for the game because it's our last home game, we get to see the new kit and maybe an idea for the future, knowing Chelsea we'll just put out the normal XI though...Anyway the crowd should be in full voice at least, no fair weather fans tomorrow!
