NiclasCFC 2,582
He was only at Newcastle as a backup player, but he's upped his game a lot, that's why he starts many games. In all honesty he's not a bad player, he does give it his all, and that's something Newcastle lack. They are a team with a shit load of players and no chemistry, Newcastle where very organised last season with such high spirit, now they are all over the place, going forward and at the back. They are just about better than QPR, and that's the honest to god truth, they are lucky they managed to pull off some points at the start, otherwise they would definitely be fighting relegation. For me giving your all is not enough, thats something everybody can do. Edit: Subbed at half time, im not surprised.
bushman 2,043
A great result for Wigan. A bit unlucky not to win it.The two points dropped by the Spurs, helps Chelsea. However, I still feel the game between Chelsea & Spurs will decide it all.
Kojo 4,676
For me giving your all is not enough, thats something everybody can do.Edit: Subbed at half time, im not surprised. You're looking at things in only one dimension, Berbatov wouldn't score near enough as many goals if he had higher work rate, Berbatov doesn't give it his all. And that's because his lazy and cocky attitude is what gets him goals, he consantly rests and stays upfield and he gets a lot of goals by doing that. Every player works in different ways, most players are egotistical, but full of confidence. Perch knows his place, he knows that he's not good enough, however he's gotten into the team because he gives it much more than any other player does on the newcaslte pitch, lets face it Cabaye knows he could play for better teams than Newcastle, so he wont give it as much as Perch. That Danny Welbeck for United is actually a very average footballer, but he does nothing but run about all day and keep his head up high and that's why he gets played.Edit: He was subbed along with Guitierez, so their goes two work horses for an attacking midfielder and a striker, and now Newcastle have just conceded 2 quick goals from counter attacks, and will end up losing more Backstreet09
diskoviolente 425
Sturridge, obviously talented footballer, who has been driven out by Chelsea by not playing him in his actual position. All this "greedy" shooting is probably explained by him always have to play on the wings but being a striker. I don´t know why none of the 3 managers (sic!) he has had at Chels no one ever regualry played him as a true 9.

Rmpr 8,977
As much as it pains me to say it, I think Coutinho is better than Oscar at the moment.Because he plays good when Liverpool are in beast mode against shit teams? What happened when he had to face good defenders like Luiz and Ivanovic? Oh yeah, did nothing and Sturridge came on! If we had no Mata, Oscar would be playing in the middle agaisnt those teams and would have been much better. Not that he deserved to do so, but all I am trying to say is that Coutinho is the typical player who will shine in smaller clubs like Liverpool but when the competition gets tougher in top European teams, he will fade away! Still a class act, just wait till next season and he starts playing behind the striker more, Oscar has just about everything for me, a great player he is. Ankit 3,176
Good that Liverpool have hammered Newcastle, puts an awful lot of pressure on them in their last game at home against Arsenal. Need Newcastle with a rocket up their arse when they face Arsenal on the last day.

The Skipper 20,609
Really hope Sturridge eventually turns out shit for LiverpoolBecause we made a mistake? He's only going to get better, and it's our fault for letting him go.Anyway, delighted that Spurs drew against Wigan. Big opportunity tomorrow to go 3 pts ahead of them now. If we manage to win the Spurs game (which I will be going to btw ) as well as tomorrow's game I think top 4's ours.

Put it down to Oscar being fatigued or Coutinho having more experience in Europe, but I still think he's better right now.Your point is easily reversable. Especially when you consider your next line, "If we didn't have Mata".Yes, Coutinho is at a shit club, but Oscar is at a good one. Therefore, Coutinho doesn't have the same quality players around him as Oscar does. Even if Oscar was played in his position, I still think he's far from being effective in the PL. Coutinho however, has speed on his side.I'm not saying he's a better player, end of story; I'm saying I think he's better at the moment. I believe Oscar will become better than him, but I don't believe he is now. That's all. And we lost to that shit team...

And we lost to that shit team...The thing is Oscar does things which people don't even realise, He is fantastic at keeping a ball and turning players, however this goes unnoticed, yet 99 percent of the time he does it.Look at his fantastic cross against United when Ramires equalised and made it 2-2, it was the game we lost 3-2. Had Coutinho done that it would've been noticed, but that's just the average thing in Chelsea ain't it, we are a good team so a lot of high expectations, I didn't even see Oscars cross get mentioned once tbh.Oscar is far more talented, even now, you just wait he will really surprise us all. Ollie 4,400
I don't really think 0-6 was on the agenda. I predict another RIOT, bring it on wooo!Cleaners should get double pay this time. Sturridge is class although he can be a bit Torres-esque in the conviction part of things i.e pulling the fucking trigger. Now we know how a French team would cope in the prem... Also, as Koko said, he does a lot of things that go unnoticed and his work rate is very underrated!Sorry if I came out rude, I wasnt trying to be. I only mentioned QPR to show that just because a team beat us, it doesnt make them a good side... The Skipper and The Mak
