Will Ferrell has become the latest Hollywood star to invest in an English football club, the PA news agency understands.

The American actor, 56, has bought a stake in the owners of Leeds United Football Club, 49ers Enterprises, joining the likes of Gladiator actor Russell Crowe and Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.

Ferrell is also co-owner of Major League Soccer side Los Angeles FC and revealed he was a big fan of English football during a trip to watch Manchester City beat Aston Villa 3-1 last season.

Think he should always wear his Elf costume every game

We have a section for it. The difficult aspect of it is unless you are involved with that aspect of the club, the news about it is pretty sparse.

There’s no general thread and I only see two players there when I was trying to update about some of the u21 youngster performances

Even bookmakers fancied Palace. No surprise there. United won't probably win any of next 3 as well. Been saying, they are not a problem. Newcastle are. If United can somehow beat them.
