Hmmm, I beg to differ. People need to realise Ole is better than Lampard. The actual evidence is there. Ole is more consistent with getting results as well as having beaten Lampard a good number of times. United even finished above us last season.

So it shouldn’t be a surprise. At all.

What should be a surprise is that mid-table clubs are catching up with us. Most of them already have. Even Villa has 2 games in hand and they are level with us.

You are absolutely right. Right now, Ole is maybe the best manager in epl. What is the point of finding solution to your offense when you can just consistently get penalty every game.

Ole has been a manager since 2008, topflight since 2011

yes, not huge teams until Manure, but still, its a shedload more experience than Lampard has

Ole has a better midfield and better wingers than Chelsea has. Ziyech might be better than Rash, but Ziyech is always injured, so currently I prefer Rash over Ziyech. Bruno brings WC creativity, which we don't have and obviously Ole did not teach him how to play creative passes. He just had it

the 3 areas we are clearly better are the two starting CB's (but they have better reserves, we are fucked after Zouma and Thiago) DMF, and fullbacks (although they are vastly improved versus a couple years ago, and AWB is a defensive monster, plus Telles is starting to settle)

their offensive firepower is unreal, and will only get better

Rashford is vastly better than Pulisic, btw, IMHO

would swap him for Pulisic in a nanosecond

I agree, even though I think that Pulisic, when he was at his best last season might be better than Rash, but who knows if Pulisic will ever be at his best again and if he gets to his best, how long can he maintain it. Injuries and Pulisic go hand in hand.

I would assume pool fans are now for rangers due to Gerrard

Some of the recent glory hunting fans maybe , or the foreign ones but a lot of the older guys will respect the connection between Liverpool and Celtic

Utd have great counter attacking pace and have plenty of match winners in the squad , most of their team are very good at long range efforts too (something I thought we would improve on with Lampard )

that was my point, as you said some in your family were pool and Gers fans

and I said probably due to Gerrard only

as I thought that pool was always closer with Celtic
