Imagine him go to United and say trophies aren't important and only the top 4 is!

Pochettino's stance is really silly. Winning one trophy won't take a club to the next level immediately but it can act as a stepping stone. Look at what Mourinho did when he first came to England in 2004. He prioritized the first trophy and won it. It helped breed the winning mentality, give the players the taste of success and that motivation to win more. And once you start to win a few of these trophies, the players will start to have the belief, motivation, the know-how about getting over the line etc. The fact that Pochettino can't seem to understand this is dumb, especially when Spurs haven't won anything in ages and he in his own career. Shouldn't he be eager to try and win that first trophy? Almost as if he's too scared to fail!
