OLIVER HOLT - CHIEF SPORTS WRITER:

Under the aegis of the Glazer family, Manchester United have become a giant, suppurating mess of a football club. Blinded by the pursuit of cash, the club fleeces its fans and rakes in record revenues even as the team flails.

The idea Old Trafford remains a Theatre of Dreams has become a joke.

For some time, it has played host to a pageant of the mediocre and the dire.

As United flounder in mid-table and approach the latest staging post in their fall from grace with the visit of reborn Liverpool next Sunday, speculation continues to grow about the future of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his replacement if he is fired.

You've heard the names: Julian Nagelsmann, Massimiliano Allegri and Mauricio Pochettino have all been mentioned as candidates.

It is said that if United lose to Jurgen Klopp's side at Old Trafford next Sunday, Solskjaer fears he will be sacked by the club's hapless executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward but, amid the chaos at the club, one truth remains.

That is that it is Woodward who should be sacked. The truth, actually, is that he should have been sacked, or moved aside, long ago.

Everyone keep talking about Woodward. I don't think he is the football decision maker. So why is he responsible about united result?

But he is not football decision maker. I'll be surprised if this season he decided let's get Maguire or let's not sign any cm. I am pretty sure his decision comes down to their transfer budget and wage budget and he probably will handle the negotiations

not a chance, he is a major power broker in it all, he signs off on all the transfer biz (or lack of it) and hires the managers

he pulled the trigger on OGS

may he long stay in charge of Manure

i know this is ancient history, sorry to bring this shit up again, but its the most in depth video ive seen so far of that disgraceful game against Barca at Stamford Bridge in 2009, absolutely spot on, to this day it still boils my blood :middlefinger:. No real Chelsea fan will ever forget that daylight robbery, UEFA is rotten and corrupt to the core, Barca is a disgrace of a football club and that cunt Ovrebo can rot in hell for all i care.
