xPetrCechx 13,573
Six players, one winner. The nominees are in, who would be your Barclays Player of the Month?Neil Warnock, Ronald Koeman, Nigel Pearson, Jose Mourinho. Who would be your Barclays Manager of the Month for September? kellzfresh 7,229
Arsenal injury records All data is from transfermarkt - not a perfect source, but the best I could get. We'll be comparing days missed due to injury.Cesc Fàbregas: missed 42 days in 3 seasons at Barça, 299 days in 3 seasons at Arsenal.Mesut Özil: 0 injuries at Madrid in 3 seasons, 34 days missed in two seasons with Bremen, and an expected 118 days missed for Arsenal (48 so far + 10 week projection).Podolski: 74 days in 3 seasons with Koln, 117 in 2 seasons with Arsenal.Giroud: couldn't find much history on him, but it appears he had no major injuries in his pre-Arsenal career.Mertesacker: bucks the curve, injured only once in 3 seasons with Arsenal (94 days) but had several injuries in 2 seasons with Bremen (200 days)Gervinho: 37 days in his recorded career (one injury with Lille), 46 days in two seasons at Arsenal.Song: no injuries in 2 seasons at Barcelona (admittedly didn't play as much, but still had 65 apps), 75 days missed in 4 seasons with Arsenal.Nasri: 50 days in 3 seasons with City, 180 days in 3 seasons with Arsenal.Clichy: no recorded injuries in 3 seasons with City, 130 days missed in last 3 seasons with Arsenal.Other players were left out because there seemed to be big holes in the data or there wasn't enough information. Laylabelle 9,536
Good. Keep that manager of the month curse away from us! During his Friday press conference Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was asked if he was bothered about missing out on the Manager of the Month award despite Chelsea's impressive start to the season, to which he replied."No, first of all I think that Ronald deserves it. He's a great guy he's a good friend we worked together for a while, I am so happy that he arrived in England and things are going well for him."And the second reason why I am happy is that the Manager of the Month always loses the next match".So true lol!! kellzfresh

Barbara 15,149
I think Pelle deserves it, honestly I thought the always so biased people would give it to di María.What makes no sense is for Diego not to be even a contender...
